Who I want to win the honor and who I think will win the honor are completely different. Honestly I think The Raconteurs Consolers of The Lonely should get it. it's great from start to finish IMO. I enjoyed Radiohead's Rainbows as well, but not quite as much. As for who WILL most likely win it, Metallica Death Magnetic. They have regained their Metal throne with this half way return to their roots. I see the mainstream picking them to win. AC/DC will also steal some props from the more deserving bands.

I didn't end up buying too many this year, so out of the ones that I bought (that released this year), it would be 3 Doors Down's self-titled album.

I'll just copy and paste what I put in a similar topic that was made earlier.

                Ludacris-Theater of the Mind
                The Game-LAX
                Devin The Dude-Landing Gear
                Young Jeezy-The Recession
                T.I-Paper Trail
                Lloyd-Lessons in Love
                Ne-Yo-Year of the Gentleman
                Bun B-II Trill
                Snoop Dogg-Ego Trippin

Every other rap(mainstream that is)album has stunk to high heaven. That includes the Waynes, the Kanyes, the G-Units(and this is coming from a huge G-Unit fan)DJ Khaleds(death of rap music),etc.

Jeezy's album blew *** too, but that's just me. Sadly Bun B's sucked to me as well, which I was extremely sad about.
