So what can I do about crazy 5k passing yard seasons

Donavan mcnabb just threw for 5k yards and matt forte just got 33 total tds. I mean these are great numbers for college kids but for nfl they are unrealistic. I havent really heard anyone talk about this so maybe someone can shed some light on what to do. Do sliders affect simmed games?

I've never seen anyone get near 5000 passing yards. But I've seen absurdly high INT totals from pretty much every QB. Tom Brady had 26 INTs one year.

He had 35 Ints in year 1 in my Steelers Franchise. But he also has 37 TD's.......

honestly thats a pretty dumb reason not to buy. Stats have been pretty good for me, so i dont think it happens to everyone. In my 2 (almost 3) seasons, the highest TDs thrown was 28, highest passing yards was just under 4000. Only unrealistic stat really is that maybe 5-10 QBs will be around 28 TDs and around 4000 passing yards, but its definetly not a game killer.

Like if I sim my games in my franchise, jamarcus/john beck actually put up reasonable numbers, but when I play with them they always suck-and this could just be me being a bad playcaller, because Ive passed it well with other playbooks and other teams

Its kinda of funny to see some of the INT totals. Eli Manning had 30 INT with 38 TD one year. Flacco's numbers have been just silly 22 TDs versus 45 INTs. The Ravens were awful, Flacco took every snap and Zazzali was drafted the year prior, then the next year they took another QB as the number 2 pick.

The rest of the stats are pretty accurate. The passing ones are fairly absurd though. It's kind of like madden last year.

concidering this game is supposed to be a sim, stupid stats like 45 interceptions ruin the deal for me. i might be lame but i think stats are a big deal in sim games

So I had a quarterback throw for 6400 yards and 63 TD's. I was using the West Coast offense and the QB was a non-drafted gem. It's unrealistic, but alot of fun to see if you can top the real NFL records.

Just a curious question here..... what was your running yards total??? I can imagine it was well under 500 for the season. In my third year with the Dolphins I had Noah Wyoming as my QB and he went a bit over 4000 Passing Yards but I also had Ronnie Brown at 950 rushing yards and Ozzie Jones had 820-ish rushing yards. So, if u balance your play calling a bit instead of going 20-30 yards down field on every play, U might see more realistic numbers.

I only had ~800 yards rushing for the year with ozzie jones. I didn't have a good backup, but the QB was Tristen Riley. Not sure if you see him in the draft path. He is a QB from Ole Miss, about 5 years in and a Tom Brady comparison. I was playing with the Texans in a West Coast offense.

Great QB but OMG do I hate the Offensive Lineman frame he has.... it pained me so much to see his big *** waddling out there on the field I traded him for draft spots!

U really need to try to get a power back to supplement your ground game. I used Ronnie Brown for inside runs and Ozzie for Counters and Outside sweeps and they were nightmares for the opposing Defenses.
