I think its funny how backboard shots never go in. Well they do, but once in a great while. Lets have a competition and see who makes the most backboard shots in a game. I will be surprised if its over 2. Thats the most ive had

How do you make a shot go off the backboard?

Because Tim Duncan uses the backboard ALL THE TIME in real life and I'd love to replicate that.

Yeah there is no way for you to control if you wanna do a backboard shot or not. Tim Duncan should do it in the game and doesnt which is very unrealistic. I personally think its pretty sad that EA didnt know that NBA players do use the backboard in a basketball game more than a few time a game. I never knew that it was so hard to make backboard shots either when they do actually shoot them bc i rarely goes in. I just cant get over how EA missed this huge flaw and I think they should fix it in another patch. It shouldnt be that hard to fix and would make the game awesome just by changing a simple thing. Dont get me wrong, the game still is awesome but the lack of backboard shots and the lack of them going in ever is really annoying.

yea i've noticed the same...they rarely make it...whats annoying is i go for an easy open dunk/layup and they make it a off the backboard layup and it never goes in..

Yes... that and the arc and the swishing is slightly annoying, but isn't it inconsequential in the grander scheme?

Im not saying the game is bad bc of that..it's not taking away from the gameplay when it comes to the grander scheme of things. It's still a great game, I agree. But this is such a simple aspect of the game that they missed somehow and its crazy how they didnt catch that. So i was just curious to see if i was the only one who couldnt make "bank shots"

I think it's a very annoying thing that holds back the overall experience IMO. Not only can you not use the backboard to lay in an easy shot, the ball appears to be briefly caught in the net as it goes through. It's just not as natural as the other basketball game.

i have missed 9 straight bank shots. i can shots to go off of the backboard (rarely, or course) but i have yet to make a single one.

These kind of shots are really fighting to go in But ive seen bank shots go in and I was very surpriesed ^^

Please change the shot physics back to 08'. The swish or miss **** has got to go! It is really unrealistic! Especially considering every shot that goes in is a high arch shot, there is no shot trajectory!

Great....this really needs to be fixed man. It reall feels like Im playing Live 2000 sometimes...LOL. (Yes, I still have me copy for PS1 and yes a still pop it in the ps3 once ans a while.)
