Stupid CPU A.I. (Madden 09 for Xbox 360)
 

Days ago I was playing a game in Madden 09, the teams were Steelers and Cowboys.
The game was tied at 14 extended until the fourth period, missing only 8 seconds when the Steelers were in position to make a field goal.
To my surprise, they asked not timeout to stop play and they let time pass, even taking two timeouts to use.
I was very disappointed with the intelligence of the CPU.:confused:

One aspect of the CPU AI that bothers me is when you are losing late in the 4th quarter and the CPU throws the ball. I know it's up to me to stop it, but that type of play selection would never happen in real life. I actually won a game due to the CPU throwing a pick with under 2 min left while they were up by 3 points on 2nd down.

The offense picks a play according you what you pick on defense. If you come out on a sell out blitz, the cpu would most likely go playaction or a quick throw.
