have you ever played a game where you just were not allowed to win?

I am Central Michigan and I just played Western Michigan in my OD. Heisman with adjusted sliders so it is fairly difficult.

I lost to Western Michigan 14-10. I had 6 fumbles and an INT with 5 minute quarters. 3 of those 6 fumbles were inside the 5 yard line. Western Michigan's only 2 scores were defensive td's, where i had a guy in perfect position to make a tackle and they broke it and took it the distance. Only 1 of these fumbles was on an option, the others were just basic tackles on the ball carrier. This was the most ridiculous game I have ever played, I had no possible chance to win.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Yea I double wow that and throw in a LMAO!!!!!

But to the op I have had games like that but there are ways to combat it. I start diving to the ground befor they can tackle me. It sucks but atleast I keep the ball.

Yes, alot, in fact. I throw aton of interceptions in some games. No matter who I put in, its interceptions, in those games. I just combat it by running the ball, then when I fumble, it, I just pretty much kneel down, and end the game, lol.

Yeah, happens all the time, but don't go telling anyone the game is scripted...they deny it and go off on you...I've had games where I turn it over 10 times before. Every time I get in the red zone I fumble. Every time I throw a pass, some defender jumps 9 feet in the air and catches it with one arm while facing the wrong direction. Every big play, I get called for holding. The AI breaks 9 tackles on 3rd down to make sure they get the 1st. If I have the audacity to stop them, they just make me tackle with the face mask and give them the 1st anyway. Your QB suddenly throws high wobbly passes that are 10 yards off, or it hits the WR in the hands and just drops. My favorite is when the CPU QB throws a pass, and the ball just knuckles into their hands, or goes through one of my guys. I've got a handful of pictures and videos saved where the ball curves in mid-air, or goes through one of my players to make sure the AI gets it. They even call me for holding on FGs and such. Oh yeah, I've seen it. Happens once every other season or so where it's definitely pre-determined that you're going to lose and there's nothing you can do about it. Yet some people pretend the game is never scripted...it definitely is.

I played Ohio State once and one of their players picked off 3 passes against me. It was a great game because the picks kept them in it scorewise, but that was pretty cheesy.

However, if you turn the HFA off, that takes care of the scripted problem. It's pretty stupid useless now anyway, because we've seen tons of teams in real life get beat at home by lesser teams.
