Classic Teams of the 2000's (360)

    Gamertag: Swove
2K Share Roster Name: Classics: Best of the 2000's; Updated
29 Teams Included, Listed Below (With season results and notable players)

This is for anyone who might be looking for a particular classic team from the new millenium. I made this using teams I felt like making, so it's not necessarily a who's who of best teams from the 2000's (i.e. the inclusion of the 2002 Celtics over 2008). As it stands, this roster has 29 completed Historic Teams (No Sonics) plus 2 "All-Millenium" Teams (East and West).

I understand these aren't perfect (particularly created faces) but I concentrate on having everything else as accurate as I can make it. I made this roster for myself really, but figured I'd (2K)share for anyone else interested.

2000 Philadelphia 76ers - Finals (Allen Iverson, Dikembe Mutombo)
2002 Portland Trail Blazers - WCF (Rasheed Wallace, Scottie Pippen)
2005 Charlotte Bobcats - First Season
2001 Milwaukee Bucks - ECF (Ray Allen, Glenn Robinson, Sam Cassell)
2007 Chicago Bulls - Semi-Finals (Ben Wallace, Deng, Gordon)
2007 Cleveland Cavaliers - Finals (LeBron James, Larry Hughes)
2002 Boston Celtics - ECF (Paul Pierce, Antoine Walker, Kenny Anderson)
2002 Los Angeles Clippers - (Lamar Odom, Elton Brand, Darius Miles, Q, Maggette)
2005 Memphis Grizzlies - Playoffs (Pau Gasol, Jason Williams, Shane Battier)
2008 Atlanta Hawks - First Round (Joe Johnson, Marvin Williams, Josh Childress)
2006 Miami Heat - Champions (Shaquille O'Neal, Dwyane Wade, James Posey)
2001 Charlotte Hornets - Semi-Finals (Baron Davis, David Wesley,Jamal Mashburn)
2001 Utah Jazz - Playoffs (Karl Malone, John Stockton, Donyell Marshall)
2001 Sacramento Kings - (Jason Williams, Chris Webber, Vlade Divac, Peja)
2000 New York Knicks - (Patrick Ewing, Larry Johnson, Marcus Camby, Sprewell)
2002 Los Angeles Lakers - Champions (Kobe Bryant, Shaquille O'Neal)
2000 Orlando Magic - 41-41 (Ben Wallace, Darrell Armstrong, Ron Mercer)
2000 Dallas Mavericks - (Dirk Nowitski, Steve Nash, Dennis Rodman)
2003 New Jersey Nets - Finals (Jason Kidd, Kenyon Martin, Richard Jefferson)
2004 Denver Nuggets - Melo Rookie Year (Carmello Anthony, Andre Miller)
2000 Indiana Pacers - Finals (Reggie Miller, Rik Smits, Jalen Rose, Mark Jackson)
2004 Detroit Pistons - Champions (Ben Wallace, Rasheed Wallace, Chauncey)
2000 Toronto Raptors - (Vince Carter, Tracy McGrady, Antonio Davis)
2002 Houston Rockets - Yao Rookie (Yao Ming, Steve Francis, Cuttino Mobley)
2003 San Antonio Spurs - Champions (Tim Duncan, David Robinson)
2005 Phoenix Suns - WCF (Steve Nash, Joe Johnson, Q, Amar'e Stoudemire)
2004 Minnesota Timberwolves - WCF (Kevin Garnett, Spree, Sam Cassell)
2007 Golden State Warriors - Semi-Finals (Baron Davis, Stephen Jackson)
2002 Washington Wizards - Jordan Return (Michael Jordan, Richard Hamilton)

I used a previously uploaded 2000-2001 roster as a real general base that someone else on 2K Share created, but I did not recall their name (as I did not plan of uploading this file). The file was well done though, and I do believe it was called actually called "2000-2001".

Further, anytime a team features a created version of a current player (Suns - Steve Nash, Wizards - Richard Hamilton) it means I used the real version for another squad (Nash - 2000 Mavericks, Hamilton - 2004 Pistons).

I'm pretty positive it was not his. I believe his rosters have begun at 1991 and have worked their way up to 1994 thus far. I downloaded the 2000-2001 base file in the latter part of 2008 and renamed it to keep track of what it was with no intent of making another roster out of it at the time. As it stands, everything has been changed so much that little of the original remains. Still, credit to the originator, wherever in this crazy world they may be.

Hats off to you my man... This was actually a good idea to me, putting all these teams in one roster. To me it really wasnt perfect until you put the 2006 champions on there, lol. Good deal.

Damn that's sick dude. Good work. It's too bad there's no Seattle. GP/Kemp would be awesome.

Is there any way I can get this on my ps3?

Sadly, the first thing that came to mind when I heard the Supersonics were skipping town was that we probably wouldn't have access to any Sonics jerseys in 2K9 and would therefore be unable to create any true semblance of the Gary Payton/Shawn Kemp Sonics (or even the Ray Allen, Rashard Lewis, Vladimir Radmonovic, Jerome James Sonics).

And sadly once more, I have no knowledge of how one would go about getting this roster from XBOX to PS3.
