    MLB Dugout Heroes

I didnt see a thread for this game yet and find it hard to believe after playing the open beta this past weekend (I believe the beta is now closed though).

This game was amazing! It was a good blend between a less serious and serious game if that makes sense. It was very cartoony but at the same time a decently modern pitcher/batting system while also fatigue, pitching rotations, and such playing a role.

When the final version is released (i heard in March) you will also be able to buy "legend" players to add to your roster. Other than that it is a free game.

Are there actual MLB players or is it fictional players?

Real players. Kind of reminds you of Power Pros with a bunch little guys that look like big leaguers except their heads are not as big. The ballparks don't look too bad and the game is free to download.

I think I had the most fun of any baseball game I've ever played with the beta of this game! I still think The Show is the best in terms of a realistic baseball game but this game was just flat out fun!

I was totally shocked when I came to OS expecting to see a huge thread about MLB Dugout Heroes and saw nothing! Definately worth checking out for all baseball fans!

I did have a lot of problems with the game crashing and stuff of that sort but it was just a beta....I assume most of that will be taken care of before the final release.

I downloaded it this weekend and it crashes every time I try to load it up.

Who makes this game? It looks a bit awkward with the over-sized proportions (they would have benefited much more by keeping them normal), but it doesn't look bad at all, especially when it's free!

First I've heard about this game and it looks pretty interesting. I'll be signing up and giving it a try.

the final version needs to be able to support vista 64...couldnt mess with the open beta just crashed the whole time

                  Re: MLB Dugout Heroes

The MLB Dugout Heroes is created by Wisecat, a Korean game developer. This game is serviced in Korea under the name Slugger which made a big hit there as well.

GamesCampus signed a license deal with MLBAM(http://www.operationsports.com/newspost.php?id=279302), so they have rights to present actual ballparks and real baseball players. It's gonna be big

The game has just finished its closed beta, and the open beta will be held around mid March. I will keep you posted on their future moves~

You won't regret trying out this game!
                  It's free anyways!!

it can be the greatest game ever, but it just don't work on Vista 64 bit, and thus is useless to me.

Just played it and its pretty cool. Reminds me of power pros a little bit.

I played it but I dont think its my cup of tea. Its like a hybrid between MVP, Power Pros, and Triple Play.

I played in on 64 bit and it was fine. I really like the way everything except baserunning can be controlled by a mouse.

Thing I don't like is you (apparently) can't delete a team once it was made. I was just messing around and named my team the "Quacks" and I'd like to restart.
