Well, I see what the OP is saying...Maybe wanting to see some other teams stadiums, uniforms, etc. Personally, I could care less about videos when we have the demo.

I like that the developers take so much feedback from the gaming community and take the time to answer our questions and address our concerns directly. Not to start any kind of EA bashing here, but every year that Madden comes out, there are videos GALORE - none of them typically showing off much in the way of gameplay - and we know how those games have been turning out. I would much rather have a playable demo, plus this forum to discuss questions about the demo / game itself.

Bottom line, is that we have a great idea of what we are getting with The Show based on last years game, the demo, feedback on this site, blogs, etc. and I would rather see time and resources devoted to those things rather than videos posted less than 2 weeks from release.

That isn't acceptable, I want to see more of the other stadiums and things of that nature. You can't do that playing the same 4 inning demo over and over. Just my opinion. The game looks great, if I was producing this game I'd want it known just how good it is. You do that with teasers as well as a demo. Because not all of us play the demo, not all of us are online with it.

Yeah, except some people can't play the demo. Surely there are more people like me who are tired of 2K and would like to see some videos which may help decide if I buy a PS3 just for The Show. Considering this is an in-house project, Sony is missing out on a considerable marketing opportunity.

Yeah, except some people can't play the demo. Surely there are more people like me who are tired of 2K and would like to see some videos which may help decide if I buy a PS3 just for The Show. Considering this is an in-house project, Sony is missing out on a considerable marketing opportunity.

You make a good point for people who are tempted to buy a PS3. Some people might like to see videos or different teams. I know the videos for 2K look good and I like the announcing team.

Same goes for 2K in the demo department - if they want PS3 people to buy their game instead of the Show they need to come up with a demo BEFORE release. Many people like myself (especially people too cheap to rent the game) will only buy one game and want a demo to weigh our options.

That is one thing that is freaking great with next gen gaming - demos! I've avoided buying games because of them (Iron Man) but also bought games when I've loved them (Uncharted, Bourne Conspiracy). My son loved the Lego Indiana Jones demo and we bought that along with Batman and Star Wars since he liked them so much.

It is so funny, you put the demo out a month before the game and people aren't happy that there are no gameplay videos out but if you put out loads of videos but wait on the demo release then people complain too.

Did you get that a lot of people don't have a ps3 or do and didn't go the demo route? I was going to play the demo but what can I really get from that? Its 2 teams, 1 stadium over and over again. When I started this thread I only wanted to express my opinion about wanting to see more of the game itself, and I didn't care if they were gameplay or not. I just wanted to see more variety.

Agreed where are the videos, GAMEPLAY videos not previews that are made crisp, not the demo (that doesnt look that great anyways cuz framerate)
Also the Demo wasnt the final product thats what we want to see, I have a bad feeling brewing... but it should be ok according to Chris
