I love this contract glitch
1. When you see someone who wants to work out a new deal on your team, first save.
2. You can go into rosters and edit to change their position. Their contract demands change with what position they are. Here are some examples of the huge amount of money I saved doing this. Vince Wilfork wanted a new contract. His base demand (package #1) as a 88 overall DT: 4 years, $26.28M and a $5M bonus Changed him to a ROLB where he is 78 overall: 5 years, $12.90M and a $2M bonus. My undrafted rookie CB Nate Lane as a 83 overall CB: 5 years, $19.90M and a $3.5M bonus. Changed him to a FS: 5 years, $8.15M and a $2M bonus. Doing some trial and error it seems that the only thing that matters is the position. Your positional philosophies seem to have no bearing on contracts. Also Guards are cheaper than Centers and Offensive Tackles. And obviously remember to switch them back to their original positions after signing. EDIT: This also works for free agents! |
Re: I love this contract glitch
good info but takes away from the realism

Cheeeeeese.

Re: I love this contract glitch
Talk about realism. There's no way an undrafted rookie CB who is only #3 on the depth chart should be asking for a 5 year $20M contract. It's only 5 games into the season. He hasn't proven anything

Re: I love this contract glitch
That's not a glitch, that's called cheating.
