Franchise Mode question...
I feel redic asking this question, but I've been unable to locate the call up/send down to the minors feature in the franchise mode of the game. It says it should be in the roster moves area of the menu, but the only options I have are trades, free agents, regional scouting, roster foundation, transaction handbook and sign draft picks. I've scanned all other options and I'm still unable to find the call ups/ send down to the minors area... any help would be appreciated!! Had the game last year so it's not that i'm new to the menu and can't find it, it really appears as though its not an option!Tags: None -
Re: Franchise Mode question...
Well I don't have the game yet, but I doubt it's not an option somewhere. With 40-man rosters, perhaps it looks different now?
Good luck and I hope you find it."I am more valuable to my team hitting .330 than swinging for home runs." - Roberto Clemente

Re: Franchise Mode question...
Just a thought and I hope it's not the case, perhaps it's not an option during spring training? Perhaps callup/senddown is only available during the regular season? Just a guess and I hope I'm wrong."I am more valuable to my team hitting .330 than swinging for home runs." - Roberto Clemente

Re: Franchise Mode question...
Thought that may be the problem too so I simulated into the season and tried to find it again and nothing. Tried to simulate a game and was told I had too many men on my 40 man roster... either have to let them automatically fix it or do it myself, unfortunately I can't find the area to do it myself hahaComment

Re: Franchise Mode question...
I looked up, down, left and right and it's not there. It seems you have to go to the roster management screen, where it has on long list of all the players in you organization, and do it from there. Which means you have to go through the process of looking at each player individually to see whether or not he's on your 40 man and what level he's on. Roster management in franchise seems as though it's going to be a lot of work.A screaming comes across the sky...Comment

Wowww that's a brutal development... why in the hell would they take that option off the menu? It's even in the instruction manual that it should be there!I looked up, down, left and right and it's not there. Re: Franchise Mode question...
I can't find it either...Regular season or spring training. Pretty sure it's not in there which is really disappointing. I didn't think it was possible, but managing your 40-man rosters and doing callups is going to be even more unwieldy than Front Office Manager.Comment

Re: Franchise Mode question...
I thought there was going to be a list of everyone in your organization and it would show what level they were at and if they were on the 40-man roster?"I am more valuable to my team hitting .330 than swinging for home runs." - Roberto Clemente

Re: Franchise Mode question...
Well, yes there's a long list, but it's just that, a long list. You would have to scroll down through each player to see if he's on the MLB, AAA or AA roster. 40-man is a bit easier to distinguish because it's just the first 40 players listed. But the roster management screen can't be broken down into MLB, AAA or AA lists.A screaming comes across the sky...Comment

Re: Franchise Mode question...
It wouldn't be so bad if you could just sort by the different columns...You can't sort, right?
Also, if you didn't know, the square button brings up a roster summary screen depending on the player you have selected on that long roster screen.Comment
