Re: PUTTIN MUSIC IN THE GAME
It actually is really simple.
All you need to do is have the music on your PS3 hard drive, and then go to "My MLB Music" under options when the game starts up. From there the game should automatically read all the music available on your hard drive, and allow you to move music from your hard drive to a custom playlist designed specifically for the game.
I was actually really happy to find that I was able to put over 90 songs on my custom playlist, especially since the music in the game this year is not my cup of tea. Last year I think the limit was 53 songs? Not sure the exact number, but it wasn't nearly as many as you can put on the playlist now.
As for batter walk up music and stuff, I would think from what I've seen that you access that by editing players. If you're creating a player or making a RTTS character, you should get the option to customize walk-up, home run celebration, ect. music to your liking.
Hope this helps. -
Re: PUTTIN MUSIC IN THE GAME
Looks like the limit is 240, which is a bummer cuz now we have to pick and choose songs from Skyboxer's huge project. I had thought that it somehow linked the songs straight from the PS3's HDD so that there could be technically an unlimited amount and we could have one for every single player. Oh well.Comment

Re: PUTTIN MUSIC IN THE GAME
I'm sorry, but some of us have obligations in life... it's not exactly easy to go through hundreds of pages of a thread to find out the answer.... I've looked through a number of threads and haven't found it. If you have easy access, why don't you be a good samaritan and just link the exact page here instead of telling me to go spend hours scrolling through hundreds of pages...Comment

I can attest that when all of us were working on all the sounds etc we also had other obligations in life yet we found time (I fell asleep on a couple of occasions at the PC) to get what we could get for everyone and also post the How To's.I'm sorry, but some of us have obligations in life... it's not exactly easy to go through hundreds of pages of a thread to find out the answer.... Re: PUTTIN MUSIC IN THE GAME
Put it on a flash drive. Plug in flash drive.
Go to the place on the xmb and highlight the flash drive. Click the triangle button to select "show all" to make sure all files are showing. Then, copy them over to the hard drive.DB'z dynasty - Michigan Wolverines

Re: PUTTIN MUSIC IN THE GAME
You're right, I apologize for getting annoyed. I'm just frustrated cuz I've looked and looked and can't find the answer. I see Jim's how-to instructions, but they don't talk about any limit. I try putting in the files into My Mlb Music and it maxes out at 240.... I have no clue how to get more in there. If you can let me know or link to the answer, I would highly appreciate it.Comment

Re: PUTTIN MUSIC IN THE GAME
doing the normal way, yes, the limit is 240, because the game can only see 240mp3's.
What you do is get a program that allows you to combine 3 mp3's into 1 larger mp3 that way using the music editor in game you can easily set the markers1 at 0, marker 2 at (beginning of 2nd clip) and marker3 at beginning of 3rd clip, at the time realizing these 3 clips are actually part of 1 bigger mp3. then assign each of those marked clips to whatever player you choose.
Simple.

Wow, that is a creative idea. But definitely sounds like a lot more work. Kinda sucks that you, Skyboxer, and the rest of us who worked on this didn't know that before compiling all those sound clips... Thanks!doing the normal way, yes, the limit is 240, because the game can only see 240mp3's.
