Yes, this game has bugs and glitches. Complaining about them nonstop won't make them go away. Sony will fix what they can, when they can I'm sure. C'mon people, the core gameplay in '09 is phenomenal. Who doesn't love Legend mode? So intense, and you really have to focus every pitch when you're on the mound. Gotta love the challenge. So many little things done right in this game. Ball to strike ratios are much better than '08. Being able to draw walks at a realistic rate is just awesome. So much more good about this game, but I'm too lazy to type everything. Gonna go play some more!

I agree, the game is great. Graphics are awsome, lighting is great. Above all else though the gameplay is superb, everything I could want in a baseball game.
My favorite threads so far about this is the RTTS thread and The Show withdrawls thread.

I ordered a roast beef and swiss cheese sandwich for lunch today. They sent it without the cheese. I blame SCEA for this.:wink:
Ok all kidding aside this game is phenomenal. Yes there are bugs and glitches here and there but the game has only been out 4 days so some of these may be fixed. Aside from that the graphics are amazing, the gameplay is amazing and I've never in my life played a sports game where I'm not going to have to spend countless hours adjusting the sliders. The Show is the reason I bought a PS3 last year and I have zero regrets about it. The postives in this game far far out weigh the negatives."When you go to other parks, they hang banners for the wild-card or Eastern Division or Western Division champions. Around here, they don't hang anything unless its for being world champions."Comment

YES. its great to see this thread. ive seen plenty of complaint threads for just days after the release. lets just tap into our roots as 90s and earlier console gamers and appreciate the days where we take what we get and enjoy it!

Problem is, I believe there are 10 positive posts for every negative. And, of the negative, there are even less that are flat out negative with malice.
You are currently playing the best baseball game, perhaps sports game, ever, because SCEA listens to constructive comments.

Just lost to Washington at home with the Pirates 4-2.... on legend of course. Love this game. I forgot to mention I was playing a game last night against the Braves, and in a key situation with one out and a guy on second going to 3rd on a grounder near the 1st base line, D-Lee INTENTIONALLY knocked the ball foul to prevent the runner from getting to 3rd. I've never seen that before and was amazed they actually had that in the game. Genius. I would up beating Atlanta 5-4. It was awesome."Don't be afraid to go to number 23, he's alright."Comment

Complaining about the complaining won't make the complaining go away either. If you only want positive thoughts, then only click on threads with positive subject titles. Telling people how they should be posting or what they should be talking about doesn't help anything. This is a forum to discuss anything and everything about the game. There's going to be feedback, both positive and negative. That's how it rolls on the internet. Get used to it.It's only a video game.Comment

This is one of those games that makes you keep coming back for more. Each game is very realistic and the outcome feels like its in your hands and unpredictable. It doesn't feel like the CPU has predetermined the winner like some sports games feel like.Comment

Never played the Show series before '09.
RTTS has me hooked. I don't want to work or go outside or etc, I just want to play my career. I've created myself and put myself on teams in sports games before, but nothing has even come close to RTTS. I even got drafted by the Reds, a team I could care less about in real life, but now I just want to get called up to the big club and win some championships!!! Changed my logo to the Mud Cats, even seriously considered buying a Reds cap the other day. I know, I'm a dork.
No, it's not perfect, but it's damn near as close as any sports game I've ever played. I would say that's a pretty big positive.Comment

IMO...this is by far the best sports game available...the gameplay...the graphics....every aspect is very well done, any small glitch is easily outweighed by the positives the game offers. Ya gotta love it...
