Saved Rosters and the Bracket Pack

I looked into the question that was brought up here

regarding how saved rosters will be affected when you download the Bracket Pack. Here is the situtation:

When you download the Bracket Pack you will get: Authentic tournament bracket and updated rosters

Your saved roster you currently are playing with will not change unless you reset your rosters (which is done by resetting manually: My NCAA > Team Management > Reset Rosters, or by exiting a game mode as functionality currently exists in the game now)

What does that mean?

You can play the DLC version of this year's NCAA Tournament with you current roster by not resetting your rosters.

Or

You can play the DLC version of this year's NCAA Tournament with the updated EA rosters by resetting your roster.


Post any questions and I'll do my best to make sure everything is clear as everybody gets ready to dive into the Tourament!

The roster in the bracket pack will still be un-named, correct? Sort of a dumb question I guess.

But this is basically an updated roster for all 300+ teams since the default roster when the game came out in November?

Is it possible to save this roster separate on your hard drive/memory card?

im sure the rosters will be not be named. Im hoping the roster will have updated appearance, ratings, etc that are more realistic this time. The default rosters on this game are, to say the least, dreadful. Im hoping these updated rosters will be good.

I'm sorry.. I feel like a moron, but let me try to get this...

I have completely renamed rosters. Therefore I can download the bracket and my saved rosters will work with that bracket?

How does it come up in the game once I download it? As another option in MODES?

Can you get the March Madness edition with Gold, or do you have to have silver?

I don't have the NCAA basketball 09 btw.

Right now, If you already have the disc based version of the game and want the new bracket pak, you have to have Gold. I tried with Silver first, and it had a no symbol in front of it. You can also get them in my blog if you have Xchange 360 adaper, software and memory cards. See my other post on how to get it. It must be done in the Game under EA Sports extras.

If you're referring to the arcade game download March Madness edition (a stand alone tournament game) where you need points, I am not sure.

I downloaded the bracket pack to my xbox and can not find a way to play it. I own NCAA 09...so where do i go to find the current brackets?

Lol, same thing happened to me. You have to download it from within the game. Go to My NCAA or whatever its called then to EA Sports Xtras, then to Live Marketplace in that menu, and then look for the download. You can't get it if you don't have Xbox Live gold right now. A null sign will show up next to it. In that case, you can get it from me in my blog if you have an Xchange Transfer Kit and a memory card.
That other download is only for the Arcade version of NCAA:March Madness Edition. There are 2 downloads there: One for the game, and one for the brackets for THAT game, not the retail disc version of the game. It took me a while to figure that out this morning, lol, so I have been there brotha.

Bigmo, if its like the 360 version, you have to get it from within the game. See my other post here, and it is probably similar to this.

Just want to make sure everyone knows that is for the March Madness Edition on Arcade NOT the retail version disc based game. You have to have GOLD right now and download it from WITHIN the game under MY NCAA EA SPorts Extras, LIVE Marketplace. You're out of luck if you only have silver. Not sure about the PS3 yet, since I don't have it for the PS3, but its probably similar except everyone gets it there.
