What guy makes you're heart thump a little harder every time he steps to the plate or toes the rubber? For me it has been Carlos freaking Guillen. That bastard has been tearing me up since MVP '04. If the game is on the line I pitch around that dude cause he always seems to have my number.

In my last game against the CPU Kevin Youkillis hit 3 homruns against me. Luckily there were was no one on base when he hit any of them. Those 3 runs were the only runs Boston scored the entire game.Comment

Denard Span. Not because he a monster at the plate or anything, but because of his damn batting stance! He has that weird stance where he waves his bat all over the pitching meter for right-handed pitchers, and it distracts the hell at of me. I have trouble seeing the moving bar because of his bat antics and usually miss the mark completely, making me throw a fat pitch or a ball in the dirt.

Albert Pujols. The dude is just a stud. He either hits doubles or home runs on me. I will on occasion strike him out. But I have just gotten into the habit of int. walking him, even if there are 2 outs and no one on. He for some reason will find the ball no matter what.Comment

I might retire the first 2 batters on 2 pitches, and then it's a 12 pitch battle, smacks a double, and after a couple more hits I get the 3rd out.Comment

It's not a who for me, it is a what ... the freaking knuckleball. Don't get drafted by the Padres in RTTS if you can't hit the knuckleball. I swear, about 10 different pitchers in my AA league have a knuckle, and though it may suck, I can't hit it for the life of me.Comment

Of the guys I've seen thus far in my franchise, Peavy gets me. He can locate three pitches on a bad day, four on a good day, moves all around the zone, and has a slider that is positively lethal. When you see the ball approaching the edge of the zone, it's damn hard to tell if it's the riding fastball that will break back over the plate or the slider that will break 15 inches away from you and make you look ********.
Of the guys I've faced in exhibitions, Vlad tops the list. You can get him out, but man does he tattoo the ball.
I play with the Dodgers, and Manny gets lots of respect from the CPU. If they don't have to pitch to him they won't. He's gotten 5 BB in 6 games, and probably could have 1-2 more if my eye were better. Leave on up in the zone on him and it's trouble.Comment
