What trades have you pulled off?

I just did my first trade. I needed a veteran at first because Morales wasn't performing, and I needed to sure up my pen

    Angels receive:
    Todd Helton
    Manny Corpas
    Scrub

    Rockies receive:
    Gary Matthews Jr
    Kendry Morales
Hanley Statia (top SS prospect, really good but I have enough SS)
    LA Angels
    Dallas Cowboys
    Anaheim Ducks

im thinking about trading A.J. Burnett for maybe a top pitching prospect.
also since i sent robinson cano down he could be traded for a top prospect.
(cody ransom and a rookie second baseman took his spot)

Good way to get a 1st baseman Helton with that deal. I signed Adam LaRoche to replace Morales. In my franchise, I traded Magglio Ordonez (who I signed) and a prospect for Jay Bruce and this guy has become a star since I got him.

I am playing with the idea of Bedard for Lincecum...Giants might not ( IF they are smart ) be interested, understandably. Bedard is "fragile".

75% of the Earths surface is covered by water......the remaining 25% is covered by Ichiro.

Really wish the rockies would trade helton in real life. I love the guy, but he eats up too much salary cap space. But overall, good trade, but what were you thinking about when you chose corpas? IMO i would have gone after jason grilli, hirsh or even greg smith. you could have used smith in the pen and then slide him in for starts in case of injury. But if thats all you could get, you did a great job.

My best trade is when i got David Price during the offseason. i sent the rays chris ianetta, arron cook and my top OF prospect (forgot his name) straight up for price. I figured they were willing to let him go cause he was in his year for arbitration. He then sucked $15 million from me after going 18-5

Good trade...I think fair on both sides...I have not dived into Franchise all that much yet, does one have to apply house rules regarding the A.I. trade logic or is it somewhat astute.

No trades here yet, but as the Dodgers I had to scramble because of injuries. Over the course of a week I lost both Casey Blake and James Loney for 2-3 months. I brought up Mientkiewicz from the minors and I had to sign Richie Sexson as a free agent just to get a bat into the line-up.

Heh, GMJ should be traded in real life. Angels have way too many outfielders right now.

Morales should get a rating bump during the year. I get the feeling he will have a breakout season this year

Victim of a loaded roster. Had Loney at 1B, Blake at 3B, and some young OF back-ups so I reluctantly had him in AAA because his offensive skills aren't stellar, but he is a lefty bat off the bench and he can play multiple positions so he is now proving invaluable, but when Blake and Loney come back he'll likely head back to the minors, unless I can work out a deal for him.

Lol pretty sure there is no salary cap in baseball. But the only trade i made has been Chad Qualls and Jon Rauch to the Angels for Jose Arredondo and a AAA level reliever prospect. Arredondo has dominated he has 15 saves and an era of below 1.50 and only one blown save. The prospect i got did great in AAA and i just brought him up.

I shut CPU trades off and don't make any either. It's too un-realistic.

You could keep signing guys in FA, and then trade them away for different guys. Makes NOOOOOOOO sense.

I just make all my moves in the off season when the signing period comes to add some drama to things and give everyone a fair chance.
