    Anyone played on default sliders?

I'm currently playing on All-Star mode on default sliders and wondering if anyone played on default sliders(any mode) also? Cause I've tried many sliders from this fourm but it seems the default is the best for me.

Re: Anyone played on default sliders?

I've been playing on All Star default on my PSP. I used to be a slider tweaker until it drove me crazy and last year I just quit cold turkey and played on All Star default like the guys at SCEA suggested. Besides, I think it is still too early to tweak sliders. You need to play at least 20 games on one level to even get a feel for what the game is like. If one level is too hard or too easy, switch levels and then go from there. Otherwise, you overanalyze everygame and try and tweak sliders to get the perfect game. Well, baseball is not a perfect game and each one is different. You could lose 15-0 one day and win 12-2 the next. You can go a week without hitting a homerun or hit 15 in a week. Just my opinion.

It seemed to me like All-Star default was a little too easy. I shouldn't be able to get 10-15 hits every game.

HoF default sliders here. I am struggling to stay at .500 but I use the same for online leagues so it is what I go with.

I'm playing Hall of Fame default. I'm still in Spring Training working on getting walks. I may up the pitch count later.

I started on default All-Star, but eventually bumped the sliders in my favor a bit, since I was getting creamed. Now that I've gotten better at the game I'll probably go back close to default, with the exception of a few tweaks- outfielder speed is best lowered, IMO, to get a realistic amount of doubles in the gaps and down the lines, and I'll probably have pitcher control for me and CPU lowered so I can get more walks on both sides.

I'm playing Veteran default, but flirting with the idea of bumping up to All-Star. Last night I decided to try a game on AS (default), Yankees vs. Angels, and gave up 5 hits and 3 runs in the 1st inning. I quickly decided I was out of my league, and started a new game on Veteran, with the same match-up. Well, this time I trounced the Angels with an 8-0 shutout. I got 3-Run and 2-Run HRs, and only allowed 4 hits with Sabathia. I'll probably stick with Veteran for a few more games, but if I keep up the trend of not allowing more than a few hits per game, I'll switch to All-Star to make defense more challenging. Either way, I plan on sticking with the default sliders for now.
