College Hoops Tonight?

I dont have the game yet so I was wondering what happens during this segment of the game? Is it like NFL 2K5 where they show highlights of games and stuff? Does anyone have a video of it?

They show highlights, go over big performances, that kind of thing. I usually skip every one but the season opener & the Selection Show, though.

I think they are neat. They add depth to the realism of this game. I don't watch every week unless I think my team might be featured. Selection Sunday is fun.

Really is a nice addition to the game. I like to watch them pretty much every week, as it's a way for me to see what's going on in the Top-25. I'm at Northern Colorado now, so there's little chance of me making the show during the regular season.

The CH2N in 07, was way better. POTW in 08 is like 2 seconds. Its still cool though. Selection sunday is the best.

Preseason show and Selection Sunday are really cool and realistic to watch. My first year at OSU I was a bubble team so I really didn't know I made the tourney until they said my team on the show - I was all excited lol!

I wish there was an easy way to see how teams do on a weekly basis but the weekly show is the only way and its only for 2 games so as it nears the end of the season I tend to watch it more.

The preseason show and selection show are absolutely worth watching. The weekly show can be hit or miss. If you are in a closed legacy and looking for your team to get a mention, it's not going to happen right out of the gates unless you pull off an incredible upset or have one player that is absolutely shooting the lights out.

That being said, it's still a fun watch, but not necessary every single week.

From what I have seen on their Player of the Week picks, you have a pretty good shot at seeing on of your boys, if you play on full 20-minute half setting, because it seems like 80% of the POTW choices come from small schools. Their highlights are always built around the big six (except for their semi-regular mid-major feature) but the POTW is where the little guys get to shine.

Even in my closed (Winston-Salem State) legacy, I watch every week, just because like NFL2k5's Sportscenter, it is a big part of the presentation and gives me the feeling that I am immersed in a real-life situation.
