Madden 09 has it problems (just like any other football game) but it's pretty good imo. When I think of "terrible" I think of Madden 06/07 for the 360. Madden 09 was far from terrible imo.

Robo QB, CPU Sliders and lack of presentation did it in for me.

Chirs Collingsworth was a breath of fresh air.

Yeah if it wasn't for those things along with the bare-bones franchise mode, more people would have enjoyed it.

I wouldn't say that there was a lack of presentation (since you had the announcers, backtrack, stat banners, etc.). It was just that the presentation wasn't that well put together and needed a lot more stuff.
