People are beginning to panic...
 

I can smell the fear in the air. People on this board are beginning to worry that the powers that be will not come though on some of their claims.

There are threads now about persuit angles and dynamic playcalling. More pretty pictures from EA have only served to incite growing fear that this year will once again be marked by fluff and bluster rather than substance.

The mood that was so positive just a few days ago has gone south in a hurry. Adding fuel to the disgruntled fire is the sudden silence of the dev. team. Ian popping up just long enough to repel one or two posts that are critical of him, then disappearing again.

I think this board my turn on Ian's team long before the game sees store shelves. Was it false hope that we gave into, or is this just a lull in the information pipeline? Time will tell...

It's business as usual here on the OS boards. You'll soon understand that a lot of these guys on here are like a pack of wolves, just waiting for the right time to make a move on their prey.

Ian and the guys are now in crunch time, they're working their butts off to get the game to beta. People need to realize that they're not going to have that much time to spend on these boards anymore. I'm ok with silence, because it reassures me that they're hard at work trying to make us a kick *** game.

I haven't sensed any panic, I'm not sure where you got that from. But then again, I've been on these boards long enough to know that people are always anxious for responses. They expect immediate answers to their every questions, if not then the devs are hiding something....It gets ridiculous after a while....

Like I said, it's business as usual.

I for one am beginning to panic being that I have been away from the Madden site and these forums for a while now. I come back excited to see the Update thread to see if presentation has been put in.

But yet...it's not even mentioned.

Is presentation going to be in Madden 10 like how it is in NFL2k5? With the ESPN pre/halftime/post game shows?

Or is the game development pretty much done, and the game is ready to beta test. Another words, no new content that hasn't already been posted on the blogs?
