Fight Night Round 4 Heavyweights Revealed (IGN)
IGN has revealed some of the Fight Night Round 4 heavyweights.
"Now we have a small bit of proof for that claim with our reveal of seven out of the eight heavyweight boxers available. These massive mounds of muscle can take a beating and deal one out just as well with their more than 200 pound frames."Tags: None -

That's the impression I got too. That would suck.

At least the screens look great.Last edited by NYG_Meth; 03-27-2009, 08:08 PM.Comment

Re: Fight Night Round 4 Heavyweights Revealed
I gotta agree. You dont have the top 2 heavyweights in Boxing? The only two that matter right now? Cmon. But they put James Toney in the game. You cant tell me they couldnt have signed someone like Arreola to help beef up the heavys.
All I'll say is Create a Boxer better be incredible.Comment

It's GOTTA be a licensing issue or royalties or both...sucks tho.I gotta agree. You dont have the top 2 heavyweights in Boxing? The only two that matter right now? Cmon. But they put James Toney in the game. You cant tell me they couldnt have signed someone like Arreola to help beef up the heavys.

I don't have much faith in the CAB as the trunks on the real fighters are grossly off. Just zero accountability...it is just brutal.
The ****ing Klitschkos were in Knockout Kings 2002...hell, the Fight Nights haven't even gotten close to the rosters of the Knockout Kings games.
The Klitschkos, Nipples, and Haye 100% should be in the game.
EA has no business/market sense. You capture a much larger international market and move more units with the above 4 fighters...which all could be licensed on the cheap.Comment

It isn't. That may be an excuse they will lobby...but I know for a fact it is incorrect. I could have the 4 fighters signed, sealed, and delivered before lunch with whatever figure EA is willing to pony up.Comment

Maybe I'm different but if I had to choose between Foreman (who you know costs a ton) or Vlad and Vitali..I'm taking the brothers. I like the older fighters but current fighters should be more than half of the roster. Current fighters make up less than 20 percent of heavys (I'm not counting Toney because he hasnt been a real fighter in years).I don't have much faith in the CAB as the trunks on the real fighters are grossly off. Do you know how many copies they would sell in Europe with Haye and the Klitschkos? A ton.Comment

I would love to see Haye. You never know what the story is behind signing a fighter to a game or the time line involved.Maybe I'm different but if I had to choose between Foreman (who you know costs a ton) or Vlad and Vitali..I'm taking the brothers. Is it just me, or does James Toney look terrible. He looked exactly like himself in Round 3 though. Will they be releasing the other weight classes like this?Comment

hmmm...yeah that's a pretty weak roster. Fast Eddie Chambers as the only current boxer on that list..that's cool. They might as well call this game Legends of Boxing.
And isn't the last remaining heavyweight Tommy Morrison? Very disappointing roster.I wish everyone talked like Larry Merchant.Comment
