Most Annoying Lines By The Announcers

The most annoying line in the game to me is when after a player argues a call and Rex says "don't say those magic words........don't say them............don't say them"

can't think right now, it's too late

but one of my favorites (and only heard it once) was when the outfielder made a leaping catch at the wall to rob a homerun, Matt said something like "oh MY! SANTA MARIA!" in like a Spanish accent.

Don't know why, but it made me laugh out loud because it was so random

Yeah, I made a leaping catch with Ellsbury in an exhibtion game and he said the same thing.

the fact that I can type those almost word for word by memory is a bad sign that they repeat a bit too often. Pretty much anything Rex says is annoying....he constantly reminds me I am playing a video game.

The worst part about it is that it's said so much. I can't think of a line being repeated this much in The Show over the last few years. It's darn near EVERY mound visit...lol.

Bad enough having to hear Rex at all (IMO), but to put him on repeat is just cruel.

I realize I am in the minority, but I think Rex is pretty funny... he adds some humor to the game. Yeah he repeats himself too often, but everytime he says "...and everyone in the ballpark what's he's gonna tell him, quit layin' it in there, MEAT." I crack a grin. The only line that really annoys me is when Hud says "and he can only shake his head, he thought he had a knock right there.... hang with em!" YES, I should have had a knock, but I got robbed. That's why that line is annoying. I don't need to be reminded. LOL. "Oh...... I was swinging at that pitch up here.... that's right there!" HA.

Anyone else have a line in their franchise when you about to win I think it is Rex that says, 'With this win they will move back to .500'? Except I'm like 20 games over .500, what's up with that?

I agree. I hate it too. I hate when the first 2 batter got outs in about 3 pitches and Arod would come up I would let one go by just to work the count a little and Rex would say that. I catch myself talking to the TV telling Rex to "go f$ck" himself

Yeah... same situation with Chipper Jones always produces, "AWWW, Chipper, Chipper, Chipper!"
