That's right. I said it last year because of Videogate. It was my belief that they wouldn't make it without cheating. I just happened to get lucky when Mr. GQ went down. I'm gonna double-down and call it again. Let the Hating begin.......

So by your own accounts you were wrong about last year. They didn't make it bc Brady went down (not to mention Thomas, other defensive players and just about every running back on the team). Considering they went 11-5 we can safely say that they probably would've made it without cheating if it weren't for the incredible amount of injuries, no?Comment

The AFC east is going to be a beast this year. Pats will be the Pats, the Bills will hopefully win more than 7 games, the Jets have the defense but still need a qb and the Dolphins... I really don't know if it was a fluke or not.Comment

Yeah, can't say I agree with most of his views. I actually see the AFC East being less competitive than last year. Pats are gonna be better than last year with Brady back, Dolphins are gonna be a distant second that will contend for the Wild Card spot and I expect the Bills and Jets to come down to Earth a little. I think the Pats are still in a different class than the other teams if they have a normal amount of injuries. Take last year's team and then add whatever they get for trading their backup QB.
I don't see the Phins anywhere near the playoffs though. I think they played to their potential last year and the collection of things around them made that enough to reward them into the playoffs. They used a lot of smoke and mirrors and had to play almost mistake free. Meanwhile, the Jets will be improved on defense and more "controlled" on offense, while the Bills will have a completely new look with TO. I think all of them will be around the 8-8 mark but Miami will probably be bringing up the rear.Comment

I don't think Miami will be THAT bad but I don't think they'll be 11-5 again. I can see them going 9-7 or 10-6 but missing the playoffs.
Of course that's without looking at their schedule for next year either.#RespectTheCultureComment
