Has anyone had a RB like this in their OD?

I haven't...but I wish I could get one (that is at least 90 speed). Now...how many of you would complain about how "unreal" the animation is if you were playing a player that did this to your defender:

Or to your defense:

Come on now...be honest...a lot of you would be pissed. Of course, maybe some of you have ran into this and can share. I myself haven't.

Power backs are completely ineffective in this game.

Are you serious? I have no hope? All the time I've spent searching through the recruiting boards season after season to find a back that is a complete monster and still has some speed?

I feel robbed.

I'll see your Greg Jones...

And I'll raise you a Rudi Johnson.

Unfortunately, I am dead serious. This game is all about speed. If you can get a guy with A- speed and good acc., he has a shot. Nothing beats a scat back, though. Apparently its something they are working on for next year. I'd love for a Brandon Jacobs type of player to be as effective in NCAA as he is in Madden.

P.S.-How do you get the youtube video in there like that?

Yeah, the problem is, a guy in the 88 speed range literally is too slow to get past the defensive linemen and into the 2nd level. He'll be stopped FAR more often than not. What's more, the strong power backs seem to break fewer tackles than a more speed-oriented back with good elusiveness. I've no idea why. That aspect of the game is just screwed. You can look for a guy with good trucking ratings but with slower speed it's hard to get a defender one-on-one in the first place, they're ALWAYS gang tackling you... lol

I do ENJOY the running game because I look for a guy in the 94+ speed range and aim for the defender's shoulder when a hit is unavoidable, and have some success that way. The thing I can't stand though, is if you have a back in the 92-95 speed range on Heisman you're looking at 4.5-6.0 YPC... If you get a 97-99 speed guy it's like 8+ YPC.
