To avoid having people screw the ratings up
There should be a max for each position speed rating. QB- Max- 90, RB- Max- 99, FB- Max- 85, WR- Max- 99, TE- Max- 95, OL- Max- 80, DL- Max- 90, LB- Max- 95, DB- Max- 99, K/P- Max- 90 (because of brian moorman)

Re: To avoid having people screw the ratings up
Seems like it would only be a problem offline since you would have to use the latest rosters put out by EA online (unless I'm mistaken), and if it's offline, screw it, let a guy have his fun.
Plus, a lot of those positions are bad, OL/DL should probably be 70-75 tops, QB/TE/LB at 80-85 tops. |
Re: To avoid having people screw the ratings up
Why......????????????????????????????????????????? ??????????
This is not necessary. Have you ever seen a player outside of these imaginary boundries you just set up...??? There is one right off the top of my head...... Michael Vick...???......He's probably faster than a 90 speed rating. |
Re: To avoid having people screw the ratings up
So Michael Vick would hypothetically have 90 speed at most? 4.25 40 or something like that? Sorry my friend, but none of this makes sense...maybe its just me :google:

Re: To avoid having people screw the ratings up
I don't really think that's necessary. If someone wants to edit players to have 99 speed for their enjoyment in singleplayer, then that is entirely up to them. That and how would you account for some downright physical freaks that happen to play a less speed oriented position?

Re: To avoid having people screw the ratings up
Vick* will have 95 speed. 92 if Donny is ungenerous.
