Re: Pittsburgh Steelers 2009 rosters and discussion
I thinks its incredibly difficult to find abilities for Santonio Holmes
He's fast but not a burner, has good hands but drops a couple, runs good routes but no route god, way more than just an acrobatic catcher to me, idk he's a tough guy to emulate on the game |
Re: Pittsburgh Steelers 2009 rosters and discussion
Here's my latest rendition
G: James Harrison - Pass rush bonus, Strength Bonus, Ball Strip - Strongest OLB in the league. Had a ton of sacks and forced fumbles so the abilities were an easy choice for me. G: Troy Polamalu - Ball Hawk, Quick Feet, Run Coverage - Extremely rangy, definitive ball hawk, good against the run. Quick feet increases his athleticism, Ball Hawk unlocks INT animations that he needs, and run coverage makes him take good pursuit angles and helps him tackle well. S: Ben Roethlisberger - Scrambler, Clutch - This just personifies him so well, you can naturally run around without worrying about a charge and make a throw from any position, that along with being clutch is Ben's MO in my opinion. QB Evade isn't a selectable ability on CAP's otherwise he'd have that. S: James Farrior - Leadership, Run Coverage Defensive leader and all around solid linebacker. S: Santonio Holmes - Quick Feet, Breakaway Burst Tough choice, as football4lyfe mentioned. He's athletic and runs well with the ball in his hands. I felt standard silver stats were good for his route running and catching abilities, and gave him a boost with just athleticism. This guy is deadly with these abilities. B: Lamarr Woodley - Pass Rush Bonus Could be strength bonus too, or even clutch. The guy had an insanely good playoffs that wasn't discussed enough. Had something like 7 sacks. B: Willie Parker - Speed burner No brainer for me, fast Willie Parker! B: Hines Ward - Possession WR This was a tough decision, because Hines had a silver regular season, but Holmes had that great playoff performance. I'm predicting that Santonio takes over as the number 1 guy. I could be wrong. Hines could easily be a silver. Possession makes him a solid short route WR like he is in real life. B: Ike Taylor - Return Specialist OR Quick Feet Not sure on this one yet, Quick feet would fit the real life team the closest, that or Speed Burner/closing speed. Ike Taylor is a great athlete who ran sub 4.4 at the combine. B: Deshea Townsend - Coverage Bonus/Ball Hawk/C;utch 'Shea has made some clutch INT's over the years, and is a solid cover corner. B: Heath Miller - Soft Hands OR Possession WR Big Ben's safety valve. Optional bronzes - Casey Hampton, Aaron Smith (big one- replace Townsend?) Ryan Clark - BIG HIT (Willis McGahee anyone?!) |
Re: Pittsburgh Steelers 2009 rosters and discussion
Damn near identical to what I have currently..only difference is Polamalu who I have with Closing Speed, Big Hit, and Run Coverage though he definately warrants Ball Hawk also
I also have Hines in place of Holmes with Strength and Tough in the Middle and Break away Burst for Holmes Everything else is the exact same though Holmes could become a silver |
