OS Arena Draft Cards
 

As part of Operation Sports draft coverage, I'm working on creating "cards" you can use to show off your favorite team's new draft pick on your arena page.

:) Dude this is sweet. Dude I have done a lot computer programming classes in college in the past. But learning has faded from my head over the past few years. But dude what program do you use to make this kind of stuff. I would love to learn how do this kind of stuff. BTW can you do carolina panther 1st pick of the second round at 43ed pic evertt brown plz. BTW I know steve smith is been the league for years. But could make me steve smith #89 for me when you get a chance. Your work looks real good bro.:nchuck::y220e:

I'm using Adobe Photoshop to make the cards. I have a Hauppage HD-PVR to capture in game footage and i'm using that to get the HD screenshots.

Honestly after making the template these are pretty easy to bang out. The tough part is creating the rookies in Madden 09 and trying to get them to look kind of like they do in real life.

And since I know you folks like the little details I'm trying to duplicate things like Sanchez wearing the white sweatbands around his elbow or Tyson Jackson wearing gloves.

anywho ... yes if your team didn't have a first round pick I'll make a card of their second rounder. After I'm done with draft cards, I'll move to other players like Smith.

Also I wasn't sure ... would anybody be interested in avatar versions of these?
