Looking for franchise mode info (new Madden player, sort of)
 

Hey gang-

So after about a 5 year layoff from Madden and playing strictly just NCAA, I am contemplating buying Madden '10 for the 360 this upcoming year. Where can I find franchise mode information and a brief run down of how it works these days? I'm sure a lot has changed since the last time I have played one. Hopefully things are much more realistic now then when I played it back then.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Followed your Baylor and Northwestern Dynasties on MM. Nice to see you on here.

Just so you know, Franchise Mode info has been sorely lacking to this point.

Nope..........it's even worse then before (Last Gen).
Hopefully M10 will break the cycle.

Thanks for the info guys and Marktg thanks for the shoutout for my dynasties.

Another quick couple of questions:

1. Do I still have to set the price of hot dogs in franchise mode?

2. Can I create myself as a coach or do I still have to use a real coach on the game?

1 - No (It wouldn't matter if you could, owner feature is broken)
2 - Can't create yourself (must use real coaches)

We don't know yet.....You couldn't do that in 09....

Last year they kinda broke progression, as far as I'm concerned, with the patch in an attempt to fix it. After the patch, players would regularly get +5 increases to speed in their first 3 years in the league. This made for WR and DB depth charts with 3 or 4 players at 99 per team in the speed rating. Really just killed my interest in franchise. I am thinking / hoping this will be fixed in 10.
