Can anyone answer my ONE question about CAS.
 
I don't have Xbox Live, is their anyway to utilize CAS w/o it?

Maybe through a USB flash drive or something like that?

from what i hear you atleast need a free silver xbl account. if you dont have live at all your S.O.L.

Ouch, this is sad new for me if true.

I don't mind paying for XBL Gold, but I use a laptop at home so I have no idea on how to hook it up to XBL.

if you have a laptop you must have wireless internet somewhere so all you need is that little device that goes on the back of your xbox. you can get one at bestbuy or gamestop

Thats the thing, I don't have wireless in my house, I don't use a router I use one of these things which plugs in the side.

Do you have a friend's house that you can take your Xbox too? You just need the Free Xbox live Silver Account to download your team.

Ummm I'm sorta confused... are you trying to get your xbox hooked up to the net or the laptop?

I'm assuming you have a wireless modem and can't connect the xbox to it?
