Any New Equipment?
 

I haven't really noticed anything different about equipment other than a Nike swoosh added to the Swoosh gloves. Any info? Thanks in advance.

There is no disc space to add new equipment...Also there is no time or resources to add equipment because everything is being allocated toward fixing gameplay. We all know gameplay is the only thing that makes a great game... :waytogo:

To help answer your question; There hasn't been much said that I know of on the topic. There has been a lot of people wanting some new helmets and facemasks, and at the moment it looks bleak for this year.

It is looking like there will be team colored shoes at least. And Madden is getting hip towels, handwarmers and colored specific gloves to name a few. NCAA will not have these in this year unfortunately. Hopefully it is something they get in the asap though as little things do matter to many and helps add to the game.

Thank you very much for the response bigwill. I figured because the Madden team is kicking butt in the equipment category, the NCAA team would add some stuff as well.

Sure thing. And what generally happens, if you have played these games over the years, is NCAA gets what Madden had a year prior.

This means a lot of things you see that worked in Madden this year will get handed down into NCAA next year. Sometimes things get worked out that they can make it into both games in a given production cycle, however it is not usually the case.

The developers are pretty good about reading these boards though, even though some of the NCAA ones are not as visual in responding. That being said, if there are things you would like to see in the future just be sure to add them to wishlists here.

It can never hurt to ask for something that is important to you. And all of the things I named above that got into Madden were enhancements they put in mostly because of OS members.

Yeah, sadly, that is the unfortunate truth for NCAA. Hopefully it won't be that way much longer.
