PC Users - Would you purchase Madden 2010 or 2011 on the PC?
I'm curious as to how many Coaches in these forums would be interested in buying a PC version on Madden 2010 or 2011 if one was out there? I know most of you are console users but I wonder how many of you would buy both PC and console, or how many of you would only buy PC versions of the game. I typically buy both a PS3 or xbox and a PC version. Not to mention that I make Madden a gift for friends on birthdays, etc all the time and purchase varius versions.

Absolutely!
Last season when it was announced it wouldn't be for pc it was later stated by Peter Moore that Madden would make a return to pc in 2010. Has this changed once again?Last edited by playball335; 05-07-2009, 12:04 PM. -

I know I would.
I bought Madden 2008 for the PC and its probably still the best game Ive played for it. Why?
Mods. The mods for the game and the mod tool make it the best way to play Madden. Of course, it still has its fall backs, but the ability to edit players, rosters, coaches, schedules, draft classes and just about anything I want in franchise mode make it worth playing.
I am from the school of thought that the more control you give the gamer over the entire game, the better. Some people would use these tools to cheat...I use it to make it more realistic.
So yes, as long as it had the same features as the 360 and PS3 version, I absolutely would.Comment

Madden 08 was the last PC Madden and it was the PS2 game.
Are you asking if people want Madden 2010 for the PC if its the same as the PS2 game as its always been, or Madden 2010 for the PC if it makes the transition to the PS3 / 360 game?Comment

The very reason you love the PC game, might be the very reason EA doesn't want it on the PC... too much editing power.I know I would.

The graphics for Madden 08 were killer, much better than a PS2 game. Madden 08 on the PC was a very good game.
I would buy a Madden 10 game for the PC but I can appreciate why EA Sports got out of the PC market for football. Too many people pirating the game.Comment

Thats true, but that just proves how insecure EA is then. They dont want people using a tool that actually makes Madden worth playing. Pretty sad.Comment

I am pretty sure that the NFL would be the ones who would pull the plug on things like that..not EA doing it voluntarily....PSN:GOLDENxEYE

I dont know for sure...Im just saying if that IS true.
And if THAT is true, then the NFL really does stand for No Fun League.Comment

Cheap? Do you have any idea how expensive a good gaming computer is? I dropped $3400 on my present computer, received it in Feb of 04 and it would still eat a 360 alive. My next computer is for sure and certain going to cost in the neighborhood of $6k.
And to answer Mike's question, I would say yes. But only if the graphics were at an acceptable quality level for a PC. No more crappy *** ports, give me the real deal.Comment

Re: PC Users - Would you purchase Madden 2010 or 2011 on the PC?
If it was nothing more than a PS2 port, no. 08 was just that, and although mods are available to update rosters and such, it doesn't hold my interest much anymore. No gang tackles, horrible throwing animations, no pocket, etc. is why.
-----BUT-------
If EA stepped up their game and ported a PS3/360 version over, then yes.
All hypothetical, of course, seeing as there won't be a Madden 10 PC this year.Comment
