Ever Had a CPU Player Kill You Single-Handed?

ARod had three home runs and drove in all five against me last night in my Rays franchise game. Didn't matter where I threw it, he crushed it. For the record, Nick Swisher took one in the ear hole after ARod's third homer. Ha.

Anyone else have a player go off on them??

    OMG!!!

The other nite, Daniel Murphy killed!!!

He had six RBI's and was 4 for 5. We lost 8-6. Dude was just unstoppable at the plate. He had a double, a homer, and 3 singles. Drove me nuts!!!

Aramis Ramirez. I am a loyal Brewers fan so I start alot of franchises with them and Ramirez is an absolute beast. I hate starting leftys against the cubs, and I walk Ramirez very very often. He was 5-6 with 2 HRs 2 2B and 7 RBIs last week when i played him. He is scary hot in that franchise right now too.

Ya I have had a couple in my Royals chise, Pujols killed me hitting 4 homers off me in the series and i went 0-3 in that series and most recent would be against the Tribe, even though I swept them Sizemore was deadly everytime he came to the plate which I then started to walk him if I had a somewhat close lead.

I hate him in real life too, he always seems to hit those timely home runs. It was funny, I was watching the Cubs-Cardinals game where he hit the walk-off homer last month. I was with some friends down at school here, and they were all pretty much Cubs or Cards fans. I was "rooting" for the Cards because I hate the Cubs more, and as soon as Ramirez came up, I expressed my hatred for him, and when asked why, I explains how he always comes up with freakin' clutch homers. Of course, he proceeds to hit the walk-off, and everyone except the Cardinals fans start laughing.

Soriano would be number two on my hate list, although I loved him as a player (even though he started off as a Yankee!) until he became a Cub. I even picked him up in my MVP 05 franchise, though I felt a little dirty having him once he went to the Cubs.

Yea...it happened to me last night. Edgar Renterria of all people hit for the cycle against me. To make it even better, his HR bounced off the top of the wall and bounced out. That was very sweet, even though it happened against me. That's what makes this game so fun.

Christian Guzman....He went 9 for 13 during a 3 game set against my Giants. He hit a triple, 2 doubles knocked in 6 runs and scored twice. He had a 5 for 5 night where he drove in 4 Runs in the bottom of the 6th of a 0-0 game vs Lincecum leading them to a 8-4 victory...

Ryan Zimmerman always seems to kill me at the plate. I guess that's not too far off from real life right now, considering his 30-odd game hit streak. But anyway, he's generally the only National that does anything against me, with the exception of an Adam Dunn homer every game or two.

Pujols and Manny...and oh yeah the quintessential power hitter known as James Loney managed to rock me for three homers

Victor Martinez just kills me. I just walk him every time he comes up.

Hideki Matsui. For some reason he just kills the ball against me. I pitch around him every time I face him unless I am up big and nobody is on-base. I always pitch around Josh Hamilton unless it's the same situation. Hamilton scares me.

2 games into a 3 game series with the Astros, Lance Berkman has 3 HRs, all to dead center, all hit on low and away pitches. Its almost as if he gets some sort of sick pleasure from embarrassing my pitching staff.

Yeah, Lincecum beamed Jordan Zimmerman in the head in my franchise resulting in a fractured skull. At the end of the season Zimmerman retired, this is after just 2 starts with him, so yeah CPU killed him.

Ha. I looked at the 9 games I have played against the Cubs thus far in my franchise, and Soriano is hitting .088 I dont mind Soriano cause out of his 34 at bats against my pitchers, he has 16 strikeouts. Milton Bradley is a beast in that game though. He used to be one of my favorite players in real life and in The Show until he popped a vicodin, drank a liter of vodka, and signed with the Cubs.

Bradley had 2 homers, one righty one lefty, last game with 3 RBIs and a double. He and Ramirez give me fits. I like to walk them with 2 outs and anyone on base.
