This option would allow you to download a picture of that player online (maybe from the teams official site, ESPN or MLB.com) in his new teams uniform, or you could photoshop a picture and then load it to the game. You should aslo be able to do this for any created players. I think this would be pretty awesome. I'm tired of the cartoon face pictures and having players on my roster wearing the wrong uniforms in their pictures.

Roster/player editing idea for next year
I think it would be pretty cool if we had the option to download pictures to our game systems to replace the player photos that are in the game. For example, if you trade for a player from another team, that player shows up on your team wearing his old teams uniform in his photo.

Re: Roster/player editing idea for next year
This seems like one of those things sports titles probably have to tread lightly around, for fear of ruffling feathers. Releasing the game with an easy way to insert your own player graphics feels like the industry would be a step closer to not needing to pay Players' Associations for their cooperation or their authentic likenesses anymore -- just releasing the game, along with easy means to fill out the rosters themselves and share with each other (since there's a community of fans that do this anyway).
Of course, baseball's probably the least vulnerable sport to this threat since it relies much more on player-specific content (batting/pitching styles that mirror actual players' mechanics).Comment
