    Cowboys stadium

Cowoys Stadium is officially open. They had the ribbon cutting today. The only thing left to do is lay down the grass. So the question is when are we going to see some screen shots of the stadium like Ian promised. I am dieing to see what it will look like in the game.

      Re: Cowboys stadium

The lead environment artist, Jared Morton, wrote an AWESOME blog and sent it to me today about the new Cowboys Stadium. He detailed his whole experience of touring it, getting blueprints, building it, etc. I was blown away.

I'm going to get with PR/marketing tomorrow and see when they want to release it. It might be delayed a bit because of the E3 festivities, and we might want to team up with a bigger outlet (like maybe some media folks in Dallas) as well - the blog was that cool IMO.

If the stadium is that good in the game, this tell me that you guys have really added a lot of presentation/cut-scenes to give the new stadium a better atmosphere to the game.

This stadium actually looks tight. I had no clue they built a new stadium.

"the most unique being the four board cluster that will be suspended 110 feet directly over the center of the playing surface. The board will run from the 20-yard line to the 20-yard line -- measuring 180 feet in length and 50 feet in height - making it the largest video board installation in the world."

As an avid Cowboys' fan, playing my first game in this new stadium is one of the things I'm most looking forward to in Madden 10 (since I can't exactly get to Arlington to go to a game myself in the forseeable future). Can't wait to see how it looks.
