Quick question about QB throwing motions...
 

Are they going to have custom QB throwing motions? Like Peyton Manning's lightning release?

If The Show can put in 300+ batting stances and pitcher motions, I don't see why Madden couldn't put in 50 throwing motions.

This was one of the most publicized additions this year. So, yes.

Watch out though...in t-minus 3 seconds you'll be berated by posters and mods at how you should have used the "search function" to find it yourself and how this thread clutters up the board.


But hey! Atleast the Bills have their third alternate from 1985 in the game! RIGHT!

its already been confirmed

but to be honest, alot of the throwing motion look the same for a handful of qb's tht ive seen in madden 10

and for anyone else who views this thread. if u have seen the gamespot 15 minute interview with ian cummings, is it me, OR DOES GAMEPLAY STILL LOOK LIKE MADDEN 09'!

and the game speed looks fast again....

With no variable speed, its bound to look very similar to the robotic Madden 09. When Ian can fix the most basic problem, then I can give him his props. But to me, theres a BUNCH of small changes. They sound big, but when the players only move at one speed, nothing will come together very well. Leaves all the possible variable combinations of situations out the game.

And the throwing motions look pretty good, the footwork in the pocket doesnt. In the NFL, when a QB steps up, he dips his shoulder almost every time. In Madden, they stutter glide in an upright position.

If he's playing on Pro, which for the demo I assume he is... Then that's why it looks fast. Pro is meant to be a little quicker, more arcade-like feel.

I am hoping you can assign throwing motions to rookies.

Also can't wait to play with Leftwich and that massive wind up.

From the vids I've seen the Culter and Jason Campbell animations look pretty on point. Can we get a Peyton Manning vid please lol.

Pretty sure you can. I believe I recall Ian mentioning that throwing styles where editable. Not sure if there will be generic ones beyond the main QB styles though.
