NCAA Football 10 Rosters Issue

Hey guys... so we are aware of the issue with no (or few) freshmen on some teams in TeamBuilder and yes the same issues are found on the NCAA 10 disc. Over the past few days, one of our top priorities has been investigating solutions.

The TeamBuilder teams require some data on the disc to set Depth Charts for every team created before they can be used in a game. For example if you use the Cupcake roster as a starting point, NCAA 10 will give you a default Depth Chart for the Cupcakes for your TeamBuilder team (which you can edit in game). This means any changes we make could cause some problems with teams already created using TeamBuilder. So we need to ensure we are taking to proper steps to correct the issues.

We understand the concerns with how this can affect Dynasty mode and Online Games, so we are working hard to have a solution in place before launch on July 14th.

I would think accurate rosters on the disc should take priority over anything done on the teambuilder site ultimately just based on the # of consumers likely to NOT use teambuilder. Even if ultimately teambuilder needs to be canned for a year.

As long as we can edit rosters, none of this is a big deal.

I doubt really any people on here play with "QB #15" the entire time and avoid downloading the great rosters that some people work so hard to make.

It's not an issue as long as they allow everything to be edited. But there are things in the roster that aren't editable from what I remember.

WOW.... thanks for answering... but WOW... how can supposedly a "NEW badass roster guy" let this get by him?

WOW is all i have right now... hopefully they can pull a rabbit out of the hat before July 14th otherwise online games will be atrocious.

online play will be stuck using default game disc rosters though... not a huge deal to me as playing randoms suck anyway... but still.

Seriously, why can't you people just go out and hire someone like Fairdale Kings, or DKrause to do your rosters for you. Or hell read the Spring Prospectus for each College once and a while...

Weird how some things so big like this are overlooked. They have a roster guy and they made the game with this fault? NCAA needs to pick it up a notch. $59.99 for a game that lacks such an obvious element to the game is unacceptable. How about the people that won't or can't use TB? They have to pay for a game that lacks the appropriate rosters?

Hopefully this will be corrected. C'mon, NCAA team!

Dude, you don't get it. Online players have to deal with this. Not to mention it will take weeks to fix this mess, even for the best roster guys

The roster community is really going to have to pull off some magic to get this to work well.

Wow some people just dont understand... This is a bigger issue than just missing some freshmen on certain teams. The ratings for nearly every team are way off as well! I know Iowa and Mich st. are screwed up beyond belief. Anyone hoping to buy this game to play online should give a real hard thought against it. How can I ever play with MSU when the best player on the team (Greg Jones) a top 10 defensive big ten player is a 78 overall!!! (he has the same ratings as last year), this is just plain laziness by the new roster guy as far as I can see. This isn't going to be as easy as people think either, as far as putting out new more accurate rosters, this could take a couple months if its done right! These rosters are messed up that bad. Why dont some of you understand this? Biggest disappointment in NCAA 10 this year has to be the rosters if you ask me

The only other mishap EA has done on this level had been that one version of Madden where you were unable to import draft classes due to some error and they had to release the game on a new disc.

I believe he is referring to EA. Not us.
