Dynasty Mode - Pay real money for advantages?

According to the Gamespot preview build:

I haven't dipped that far into dynasty mode yet but it looks very simliar to previous years. That said, there is one significant change: You can add an additional pipeline state by paying for it. With real money (MS Points or cash on PSN). In fact, that's not the only so-called "dynasty accelerators" you can apparently purchase: there's also recruiting advisor, coaching seminar, toughest places to play boost, school pitches improvements, maximum player training, and recruiting reports as well. According to the game, these boosts will affect every team you control in offline and online dynasty modes. I need to investigate these more to see what they actually do for you...

Im not against DLC, infact I would not be totally against this DLC unless this is the only way to add These features. If the only way to add pipeline states is to pay for it, then shame on EA.

Paying for DLC is ok if it means buying more uniforms, mascots, stadiums (in other words, nice touches). However, for cheats, it is a big no no.

                This is pretty low.

I own an 360 RPG called Tales of Vesperia where you can pay to level up and get items and stuff. This is essentially the same scheme...artificial in-game acceleration. Hopefully people won't be able to use these upgrades in Online Dynasty without them being approved by the commish.

For a minute I thought this thread was going to be about dirty recruiting in NCAA 09 that would lead to pulled scholarships and the death penalty, but the NCAA would never allow that.

As for what it really is, it's probably one of more shameless money grabs I've heard of, and I have no interest in it.

I abused those in Tales of Vesperia. I got bored grinding.

But I HIGHLY doubt they would work in online dynasties. Some fruit would just buy them and make their recruiting godly.

The difference is that NCAA is supposed to be a reality based game where you earn prestige by winning games. Not sure what EA is trying to do here if this is true.

I don't mind if people want to waste their money for enhancers for their offline dynasties, but for those to carry over into online dynasties would be a travesty. Hopefully the admin would have the ability to turn those off as an option. Otherwise this could completely ruin the competitive spirit of the mode.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

                            Wow,

so this is what they changed in the dynasty? Just for another way for EA to make money, I am glad they are thinking about the consumer.
