Best NCAA to date?

I've seen quite few other iterations of this game mentioned in various threads, which got me thinking. In your opinions, what has been the best version to date and why? Did a search on this and couldn't really find anything.

On ps2, I only purchased the 07 version and was pretty pleased with it. The features were really good, especially the create a school and gameplay was solid too. But by looking around, it seems as if there were better versions than 07, I just never purchased them.

09 on 360 was ok after the patches but still left alot to be desired when comparing to last gen. Based on what I've seen with NCAA 10 and after playing the demo, I will not be purchasing this game. At least not on ps3/360.

I was immersed in the 04 season. I thought that game was excellent! the only thing that bothered me about that year was receivers dropping easy catches.

The one with the USC quarterback was the best in my opinion. The one I disliked the most I think it was 06 the one with Desmond Howard doing the pose had way too much interceptions in that game. Didn't really like that one much.

I played 02 the most though. Had the most fun with that game.

What, in your right mind, has convinced that this could be the best one to date? Well, there ARE the wind socks, and Season Showdown could put it over the top.

gameplay is the best so far on next gen and teambuilder is the best create feature we've ever had in any football game. FBS isn't everything to me like it is some others so this feature is absolutely huge. windsocks and season showdown are nothing features, but then again they don't take anything away from your experience either so people need to let it go.

06 was the best game, but 2004 was by far the best for when it was released.

Ok, so besides the inferior (if any) presentation, terrible rosters, the lack of simple formation subs and extremely arcadey gameplay, then i GUESS it can be considered the best.

presentation isn't my biggest concern. I get why some are so enamored with it but again just my opinion. i wish form subs were in to, but not a back breaker since it is pretty easy to get different packages in. the gameplay is no more arcadey than any other football game we've played save for maybe NFL 2K5 and that's a horse that's not only been beaten but buried. I'm on next gen now and not going back so it's pointless to even bring up the old stuff.
