How did you get those high end free agents and still have cap space?

Exactly- you have the two best CBs and LBs available in FA, among others, plus you must have traded for Witten. No way you have Cap Space.
      Madden 11' Franchise should be

Madden '10 "foundation" + depth of Head Coach 09 = my dream franchise mode.

i thought people would think that but 7mil a piece for samuel and asomuga, mitchell 2.5, dansby 5.2, andrews 4.3, only 4 others are above 3mil and everyone else is under a mil a piece. It is possible when there is dead weight on the team with minimal penalties, and to start off alot of capspace b4 trades and releases

It looks like the team is gonna be good for year one and year one only. Once the cap, penalties, and top ten rookie salaries kick in its gonna be trouble.

I used to play that way. I have made a team that had almost the exact same personal and was able to turn the Dolphins into a 14-2 season.(stupid Patriots, they are cheat mode) I was also able to take the Lions/49ers and go 12-4 with each.

The game was just to easy to grab all the best talent and then run deep into the play offs. I had to apply house rules to limit the amount of talent I was able to pick up. I now only allow 3 starters to be picked up at most and can pick up to 5 back-ups as long as they do not have a lot of potential.

              K: Jay Feely
              P: Josh Miller

as you can tell i kind of went to the defensive side of the field in both free agency and in the draft. and during the draft i did alot of trading down so next year i have 3 first round picks (one that looks out to be the 1st pick), 2 second round picks, 2 third round picks, 1 fouth round, and im not sure for the rest. But yeah, ill probaly end up trading away some of my players like Josh Johnson, John Beck, Reagan Mauia, and either Jeff Faine or Samson Satele to get some picks in next years draft (English Path ). Oh and btw i have 11.43M CAP right now, 25.74M for next year, so i plan to build alittle more in the draft in less in free agency.

Any team can be great in year one if you have a good draft and FA.

i said i have 17 mil in year 2 and 58 for year 3 so i won't have cap issues cause i only am looking to add 2 players in year 2, and then i will have to retool in year 4 cause im gonna loose people to rfa's, and i will probably trade most of the picks for players instead of drafting(cheaper)
