Everyone talks about what Madden doesn't do well on but I wanna know what you think it does do well on. My list would be a good sense of x and os with the audible system. Finding exploits in the d and such. Franchise mode does convey what its like to run a franchise if very remotely. The graphics are amazing. Some animations are really excellent especially with specific player styles. Add any more to the list? But without comparing it to other games.

It runs well online minus a few things here and there. Its now as fun to watch as it is to play. Playing Madden can give anyone basic football knowledge.Because I live in van down by the river...Comment

When it's not busy throwing it's flaws in your face, it can be fun. I love scoring TDs and running the football and playing D. I love to call play action plays and screens. I love to throw curls and slants. It's not like playing madden isn't fun. The obvious flaws take away from that fun. That is what makes me mad. It looks like a lot of things that drive me mad about 09 will be gone in M10. However there are other things that are already driving me mad about M10 [how every cut sceen fades to black before changing for example, to larger things like running animations].
Madden as a whole is a solid and fun game. I does have a lot of good things, but it does a lot of bad things that cloud that. Double teams exsist in Madden, but theyare UBER rare to see when they should be common [more so when you run a 3-4 base D]. Man coverage can work, but often times it doesn't. All this question is going bring is trouble. Since madden has went next-gen it hasn't done much well imo. Considering what it did on last-gen systems and what it hasn't done on this gen. It hasn't even been a fun or realistic experience imo. That's my honest opinion, I can't enjoy the game. I could point out all the negatives, but it's pointless, cause it's my opinion and others might not agree with it. It's a huge combinations of things. Hope it changes this year.Comment

And my opinion is that it doesn't do much well in the critical areas of football, since it hit next gen. I'm talking about the overall feel for the game, it's just not there. It's hard to pick out good things when you can't play the game for extended times. Last year the game seemed to taking a step in the right direction.
From what i can see this year, the players faces are good, much improved from previous years, and the graphics and lighting effects are better. So there are my positive things. But like I said that won't matter if the game plays like it has in the past 4 years. Maybe that will change this year? Will I know until I play the game? Nope.Comment

Online performance. Very little lag, very responsive.
Since 09, framerates are very good.
Player modes are usually too bulky or too skinny, but that's tuning... the model itself generally looks good.
Playbooks are very realistic. A lot of people complain about it, but they're generally not people who spend a lot of time digging through playbooks and the like. Truthfully, Madden's playbooks have been very solid for a long time.
QB Decision making... this doesn't get talked about a lot, but the CPU Qbs tend to make intelligent decisions most of the time.There are two types of people on OS: Those who disagree with me, and those who agree.

The various game modes to attract the masses. Want to do PvP go online, want to run your own franchise, want to be a superstar, or just want to play a single game...Madden has the options for each of these.
Still shots look amazing.
Players becoming coaches.
Some years(hit or miss really IMO) the music has been good.Comment

For next gen I'm sorry but the only thing Madden has done well is the quote I copied above.
I did not see anything in any of the next gen maddens that was done well. Especially since they kept taking away great features, control schemes , and many other elements away that they already had in place in last gen.
Things they had heading in the right direction on old gen they didnt bring with them into the next gen.
