Does "manual passing" affect trapping?
 

I have switched from "assisted" to "manual" passing.

My players seem to be pretty crappy at trapping the ball now.

Is this related?

Does "manual" passing allow me to pass "too hard" - thus making it more challenging to trap an incoming pass?

Is there some way that I can use the L2/LT "pace control" to help this?

I could really use some advice - thanks!
