Pittsburgh Has Been Taken Over!Oct. 3, 2005
The Penguins' previous manager has stepped down this season, and now Kyle Huesson has taken over! The team has decided that Mario Lemieux willl take a stand up as Team Captain, and he has selected Mark Recchi and Dick Tarnstrom to back him up as the Assistant Captains. When asked, the three star players agreed: 'It will be an exciting season, and I hope Huesson can take us far. To all the other NHL Teams competeing this year, good luck, but watch out!' Confidence on the faces of this unit. The new manager is also stepping up as Head Coach! Huesson has submitted this Season's roster: Centers: Mario Lemieux, Milan Kraft, Rico Fata, Kris Beech, Mike Eastwood, Michal Sivek, Shane Endicott, Evan Mason, Matt Hussey Left Wings: Ryan Malone, Tomas Surovy, Ramzi Abid, Lasse Pirjeta, Guillaume Lefebvre, Matt Murley Right Wings: Mark Recchi, Aleksey Morosov, Konstantin Koltsov, Matt Bradley, Ryan Vandanbussche Defense: Dick Tarnstrom, Brooks Orpik, Ric Jackman, Michal Rozsival, Josef Melichar, Martin Strbak, Ross Lupaschuk, Rob Scuderi, Chris Kelleher, Alain Nasreddine The Goalies have not been released yet, though this information will be told before Wednesday's game. |

SHOCKING UPDATE!
The injuries sustained on Wednesday's game are now being reported on. Milchar is cleared to compete on Friday, but Strbak's luck is not so great. Martin Strbak is suffering from broken ribs from a devistating hit from NJ's Left Winger. The defenseman will be out of action for a lengthening 4-6 weeks! Best of luck in his recovery. |
