I dont get why it would be necessary to preorder ANY game, much less Madden 10 which will be in any and every store come the 14th.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but what's the point? You don't get it any earlier, you don't get a cheaper price..I know sometimes they give out dumb stuff like a "sticker pack" or a T-shirt or something if you reserve your copy, but that is only done so that particular store gets your money.

On August 14th I will walk into Best buy and buy a copy, which they will have a gazillion of.

actually you do get an exclusive early and full demo from gamestop if you preorder. I preordered and got free overnight shipping from gamestop.com

I havnt yet, im going to for the full demo. I usually dont buy Madden & if I do its like Febuary or March but this year looks great & im real excited for it.

The Game Stop/Funcoland by me has a party that starts at 11. There is a Pizza place right next to Gamestop so the guys at gamestop buy 5 pizzas and a lot of Garlic Knots. I really enjoyed last years release party and look forward to this years release date mini party. THere is only one thing, I DONT touch Madden till I get home, No playing it in the store lol
