    Stadiums and Editing

Will we be able to edit the stadiums this year. I see there's a team builder and you can create stadiums. Just curious if we'll be able to do that. I'd love to play with my Alma Mater but their Stadium hasn't been in the game for 10 years. Why it isn't I have no idea it was in the older version but hasn't been in a next gen system. You'd think with a next gen system they wouldn't need to use generic stadiums esp when they were in the game before.

I mean heck it's not like some tiny school 50k student's, a couple NFL Hall of Famers went there and some of the best players in the NFL now went there. But a school that is much smaller and less known 20 miles away their stadium is in the game WTHeck. Why is the Akron stadium in the game and Kent State hasn't been in years. How many hall of famers came from Akron U??? Antonio Gates, Kent, James Harrison Defensive Player of the Year, Kent. NFL Hall of Fame member Jack Lambert went there.
Heck even Lou Holtz and Nick Saban went there.
Also some good baseball players like Thurman Munson and Andy Sonnanstine.

Is the KSU Stadium in the game this year? If not why?

Also can we edit uniforms for the teams in the game? Will we be able to create alternates for teams in the game with out doing the stupid online thing, I just want to be able to add a old school uni to a current team. Will we be able to do that, and if not why not?

Editing the unis and stadiums and rosters are simple things that we should be able to do to make it a realistic atmosphere. I don't want bells and whistles, is it too much to ask that the buildings the teams play in are in the game??

    Re: Stadiums and Editing

no stadium creator. they weren't stadium complete until the 5th cycle on last gen. this is the 4th on current gen and they're only missing 5 stadiums. the only way to change default team unis is to recreate them in Teambuilder. You can either change them completely or give them their normal home/away while changing up the alts and if you haven't tried it yet it's pretty easy.

Here's what the Stadium looks like. It was in the game a decade ago, I would hope with a Next Gen now in it's 4th edition they could put it back in the game.

They are missing way more than 5 Stadiums, at least in last years. Hopefully they'll have them in this years game. I think it's Laziness to have them in one year and then stop doing it.

I'm getting fed up with EA's cutting corners and then trying to advertise it as realistic.

nope 5 stadiums this year are generic that's it and like i said for last gen they didn't have every stadium until the 5th cycle and there were less schools then as well. I have no idea the reason this stadium didn't make it though. check out this thread for stadium talk http://www.operationsports.com/forum...-120-them.html

The number of schools without stadiums and the number of generic stadiums are different, sorry for misunderstanding you. You first said there are only 5 stadiums that are generic, not there are only 5 schools. I was saying that no, there are more than 5 stadiums generic, and hell even the number of schools is more like you pointed out. No need to be a smart *** dude.

Can someone please help me understand how in the world they have stadiums left out with any of the releases, much less still? That is flat out ridiculous. They had all the stadiums in NCAA the first year it was released in the original Playstation. They had them all the first year in PS2. And they still don't have them all? EA is a joke now with this game.

no they didn't. they didn't have all the correct stadiums until the 5th version on last gen.

Looks 10x better than their real stadium.

They didn't have all the stadiums. And those took a day to do where these take several weeks. The game costs $60... EA has to turn a profit or they wouldn't make the game.

its been explained on these boards a few times what goes into making the stadiums, and how they have to also get the updates schools add to their stadiums.

If a stadium or school is planning on a new stadium soon or going to add an expansion or the expansion isn't complete, they didnt want to add that and then have to change it because theres a lot that goes into making the stadiums accurate. Rutgers Stadium doesnt look like it does in the game, they are adding an expansion behind the one endzone to make it a closed bowl instead of a horseshoe.
