I don't know for sure but thats what i think we'll be able to edit.

But its already confirmed that we can edit attributes mid-franchise

I am confused by some of the terminology here.

"attribute"

does that = Ratings?

I have heard that we could edit ratings which would basically fix this year's progression well enough for me for this year.

If we are on the same page and you mean we can edit ratings (speed, catching, throwing power, stiff arm, etc.) were was this "confirmed" at?

A link would be great.

I have seen anything official only hear say.

Yes, I use the word "attribute" to mean "ratings." To me, the words are interchangeable.

As for the source, one of the editors wrote a blog about his experience at E3:

If you look at the section on Madden 10- Chase mentions editing attributes:

-You can user control all 32 teams in offline franchise mode, and you can also edit every player on every team within the franchise mode. So if you don't like how a rookie was rated on so-and-so squad, you can change everything about that player's rating within the franchise mode.

Somewhere else, someone asked for clarification, whether this was true that you can edit player's attributes/ratings mid-franchise- and Chase confirmed yes, you can edit in the middle of your franchise. (sorry I don't have that link)

Besides mix-&-match uni's & improved presentation, this is the best thing that's happened to Madden in years.

Yes. The problem with Created Players and edited players having larger than normal shoulder pads WAS in Madden 09, that was one of the reasons i refused to purchase a copy of the game. As i stated in my previous post, its possible it was fixed later, but that glitch was absolutely in Madden 09.
