are we supposed to officialy not get it till Monday night or are places already selling it ? no EA people seem to be complaining that so many guys shouldnt have it already.

I got the game at a mom and pop store in Dallas. I'm friends with the owner and they got their shipment in early

Don't worry, those stores will hear from EA in a form of a lawsuit.. I hope not, but they do find them.

Not if the store doesn't have any sort of contract prohibiting them from selling the games when they get them. Major franchises have those contracts, I'm pretty sure EA doesn't go around to the thousands of independently owned stores to stop them from selling the game.

Maybe their distributor can get in trouble, but that's about it.

O true.. I didn't think about the street date affecting those indp. stores.. So you're saying they can legally sell the game before the 14th? If so thats pretty awesome.

As far as I know, they can. They're not specifically under contract with EA...so EA has no legal action against em.

That's what im imaging happened to my local comic book store...not only since 07 did they not have it out, there going out of business.

since you can play the game online already if you have the game. These restrictions for major chains seems really pointless and stupid.
