    *** mkharsh33's 2k9 Rosters (360) ***

Tonight (Friday - 7/10/09) I will have rosters up in 2k share for the 360 - GAMERTAG: mkharsh33. In my opinion, these are some of the best you'll find...

    - Using the 2k share 6/29/09 living rosters as my base file.

    - Tons of edits of top prospects for each team...please understand that not all player race's are correct, i'm simply updating their names based upon information others have shared.

    - All depth charts (MLB level only - not minors) are updated using mlbdepthcharts.com (great site, btw) - all lineups and pitching rotations are 100% accurate (also realizing that some callups/senddowns take place everyday).

    - All injured players and top prospects are at the AAA level...the 2 lower levels (AA & A) have lesser rated players only.

    - Many THANKS to Alex G. (aka NYYROCK2) for a number of CAPs he provided.

    - NO attributes or equipment changes - I haven't touched those as I wanted to make sure I'd have enough editing space.

    - Prospects (that I can recall - but there are others):
    Angels: Romine, Conger, Trumbo
    Astros: Castro
    Athletics: Cardenas, Carter, Weeks
    Blue Jays: Arencibla, Cooper
    Braves: Hanson, Heyward, Freeman, Medlen
    Brewers: Jeffress, Cain
Cardinals: Wallace, Todd, Anderson, Mortensen, HoffPauir
    Cubs: Vitters, Cashner, Castillo
D-Backs: Parker, Parra, Schlereth, Valdez, Allen
    Dodgers: Hoffman
    Giants: Bumgarner, Posey, Villalona, Joaquin
Indians: Head, Brantley, Costanza, Brown, Toregas, Pena, Hodges, Mills, Espino, Santana, Head, Hall (I'm an Indians fan)
    Mariners: Halman, Aumont, Trunfel
    Marlins: Stanton, Morrison, Dominguez, Coghlan
Mets, Nats, Orioles, Padres (forgot to check them in my notes, but I know I made a few of them)
    Phillies: Carrasco
    Pirates: Tabata, Sues, Kratz, Alvarez
    Rangers: Feliz
    Rays: Beckham
    Red Sox: Anderson, Reddick
    Reds: Alonso, Frazier, Stubbs
    Rockies: Chacin, Rosario, Gomez, Rogers
    Royals: Moustakas, Hosmer
    Tigers: Sizemore
    Twins: Ramos, Valencia
    White Sox: Beckham, Flowers
Yankees: Jackson, Montero, Brackman, Romine, Melancon, Cooper, Jackson

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know (I will not be offended by anything). I plan to continue to update this file and provide updates throughout the year. Obviously 2k has provided limitations on this, but I'd like it to be the best it can under the circumstances. Enjoy...

Looking forward to the rosters! One thing I probably should have clarified earlier is that editing attributes and equipment does not count towards the 150 player edit limit. Those are only name changes.

File is up...sorry, I just missed you (I saw you went offline 4 minutes before I posted it). Also, I'm out of editing space, but I can download players or create CAP's and still keep this file running.

Everything is accurate as of 7/11. What I'd like to do is start the edits on the player ratings around the all-star break, but I'll need help in that. But this file is pretty solid, IMO.

Well im just gonna warn you, the only attributes you can change are hitting and pitching attributes and fielding attributes too. Sadly, you can't edit pitch ratings, meaning you cant change pitch types, velocity, movement, or control.

thanks! i will keep updating this file and post weekly updates. i'll also keep adding Alex's CAPs as long as he keeps them coming. i wish 2k allowed for more editing (i believe i got the Angels AAA lineup complete) as this game isn't as bad as some of the stuff i've read. you have to accept this game for what it is...

version 2 is up on 2kshare...

numerous player edits (in conjunction with all star break statistics)...Pedro on Phillies AAA team (didn't know who to send down yet). many CAPs provided by alex g / nyyrock2...all depth charts and pitching staffs correct (based on mlbdepthcharts.com). some injured players left on major league roster - you can change some of them to suit your tastes.

as an aside, i wrote jason at mlbdepthcharts.com - thanking him for the work he puts on that site. he was nice enough to write me back. i shared with him that i use his work for video game editing and he appreciated that. if you haven't checked out that site you should, and bookmark it. great stuff for any baseball roster junkie.

as stated before, i cannot edit any player names, but if anyone sees any CAP's they want, let alex know and i'll continue to add them in the rosters. i plan to upload new rosters each week so long as there is interest.

                  thanks, mike

It's a shame I can't incorporate these Rosters into my already on going franchise. Blah!

                        appreciate it...

i will definitely stick with this game and keep the edits coming along...though frustrating at times, i guess i'm in the minority, but i find this game to be very enjoyable at times.

but your comments mean a lot...

NEW roster set uploaded...they say 7/12/09, but i put the date in wrong...

they are updated as of 7/17/09 - more transactions, a handful of player edits, pedro is on Phillies AAA team and have gone over lineups and rotations to double check them over.

personally, i have looked over some of the other rosters out there...they're not up to par with what i've tried to do with these...alex's CAP's are in them (most of them, especially the top prospects). i saw one guy claiming to have the best rosters, but had a fake player on the pirates major league roster which should have been garrett jones (and didn't have any of the prospects)...berroa was still on yankees minor league team, etc.

what i think is happening is other roster makers are giving 1 star ratings to the other sets to hopefully push theirs to the top. i'm not saying this to sound arrogant (i'm the least arrogant person there is), but i've put a TON of time into these and i believe they're about the best that can be done with the limitations that 2k puts on us. i still have a 37 CAP spaces left, so plenty of new players that get called up will get created, if needed.

i added kevin mulvey (CAP) to the Twins - found his scouting report buried in some stuff from the mets, who drafted him a few years ago...also activated corpas (col), gordon (kc) and added bj ryan to the cubs AAA team.

also, if anyone catches any AAA changes, please let me know. i haven't focused as much on thosse rosters, so i'd appreciate any transactions that need made. thanks!
