    Realistic rosters?

    Ive noticed that alot of the rosters arent really realistic. For example most cbs have the same coverage, or most wrs have the same catching. And nearly all have the same hold on ball. Is making a roster that really reflects a player a bad idea? Would it not work or something? Im currently finishing up my roster, and im going to work on sliders.

    Realistic roster with these global edits
    All agility reduced by 40%
    Defensive players speed reduced by 10%
    Coverage goes to 110 max.
    Aggressive formula. Wrs=127 cb=0

    Please tell me if this roster is on a bad track. THanks

    The ones I'll have ready in about a week will be very close to what you have in mind.I think you'll be very satisfied.

      Here are my thoughts: DBs should not have the same coverage and WRs should not have the same catch ratings, you're correct. That said, you have to fudge some ratings due to the inconsistencies in the game engine. If certain ratings are lowered below a specific point, the player plays like complete crap. Personally, I don't feel coverage ratings should be lower than 85-90 for any DB, and likewise the catch rating for WRs. They should both be set between 85-90 and 127 for all players. Although RB's and maybe even some TE's who are not known as receivers can be lower than that.

      It would be nice to be able to just drop everyone's ratings 40% across the board and expect the game play better, but again that's not possible due to the funky game engine. Some ratings you can do that with: you're dropping Agility for example and that should be fine. Although you might want to consider a tiered approach: 20% for RBs, WRs and DBs; 30% for TEs and LBs; 40% for everyone else... something like that.

        Cant wait. Its really hard doing all these players. ALot of respect and thanks to everyone that does them.

          i have been hard at work too.. trying to get the game right.. will be releasing another roster and franchise when teams cut down to 53.
          Please dont post links to other threads or sites and stay on topic which pertains to this roster FNG
