Madden 10 Is going to be a Monster!!!

I am very excited for the release of Madd3n 10 is going to end the NFL 2K5 talk....I just believe that it is going to be a return to Madden being the 800lbs Gorilla!!!!

After watching the latest videos and seeing the interviews with Ian...I truly believe they have made the game we have all been waiting for...I have been playing Madden since 1993....it definitely seems like it is going to be a milestone year for Madden!!!

And if Madden 10 is not a MONSTER....I will gladly eat crow...I don't think I will have to though!!!

i doubt it about the 2k talk but i will say madden 10 did a good job on presentation. the cosmetic upgrades will surely have people playing longer than the previous maddens

Once Madden creates a locomotion system that doesnt remind people of transformers (way players move) then EA can finally be crowned the king of NFL football simulation.

I think M10 will outdo 2k by alot. The only thing 2K fans (I am one) can still gripe about are the running animations and physics IMO

I don't get this. I have seen 2k players do some really funky moves too. Especially in 2k5 and Allpro.

The most important part of football IMO. Madden 10 looks good, not like a monster, not great, good. (which is way better than I can say for the other next-gen Maddens). The 2k will never end. Ever. Not unless Madden plays exaclty like 2k which it never will.

well its still a video game. funky will be there but all pro has physics based engine. footplanting, balance, weight, and momentum is present on every down. check out some youtube vid and u will see

let me correct myself. 2k is a physics ANIMATION based engine. BB has the physics based...lol sorry

I am an NFL 2K5 owner and fan....BUT after seeing this years Madden 10 in action....I do believe it is time to hang up 2K5....I do think that presentation wise, the Sportscenter Theme and Dynasty elements are Legendary and I will not ever get rid of my 2K5....BUT Madden only needs to change their running animations and they will be King of the Mountain....Do I think that if 2K5 had the right to make an NFL game they would do it better than Madden....Maybe....Maybe not...competition is always good for the game....Look at who was the winner in 05'...NFL 2K5 vs. Madden 05= gamers as the winners!

Guys 2k5 and All-Pro football will be put to rest this year. The locomotion in Madden 10 may not be perfect, but it is definitely better than Madden 09's. Also, Madden's control configuration puts 2k to shame. I'm glad that Madden finally made presentation a priority this year, and also improved game play.

Agreed that M10 will be a great, great game. I'm as exited about it as I have been since Madden '01 for the PC. You remember? The quantum leap in player models. Of course, that year they had the bug eyes..

On 2K8, "Sweetness" has his scissor kick... But, 2K has issues, especially near the sidelines where one foot wouldn't fall out of bounds and the player would swivel until it fell in bounds. It's hard to explain but there are other issues but they're not gamekillers IMO. I'm ready for Madden 10 and I think many others here at OS (the hard to please crowd) will LOVE it... We'll see...
