Just took a few minutes and played as Cal vs. the worst team in the game FIU.

37 snaps(Pass plays by CPU)....base rush of 4...ZERO sacks, 4 pressures.

Now, I won the game 42-3 on AA level, but again, 37 snaps with a top level PAC-10 club, always rushed 4 whether out of 3-4 or Nickel sets and not once did I get the FIU QB.

Sliders may or may not fix this as it depends on how powerful EA makes them.

One more note, and again, this post is meant more for people who are on the fence. But when you do blitz, the CPU turns into Mrs. Cleo and will 8 out of 10 times zing a bullet off their back foot within a second or two.

Thoughts? Comments? Do whatever you like. this doesnt kill the game for me, not yet. But a week from now? Let;s just say if sliders dont fix this it;s second year running the game goes in for Madden.

Rosters are one thing, fundamental gameplay issues like this are another.

I'm not having any problems...

I average about 2-5 sacks a game and I am able to get constant pressure on the QB.

LOL, this still happens? Same thing happened in 09. Robo QB. Do they at least throw incompletions this year? I remember last year the CPU stats would always look like: 27-30, 3INT's

I'm not having issues with sacks either. I've been able to get sacks with Army and Maryland. I played against Akron with Army and West Virginia with Maryland.

Those saying they have no problems getting sacks, what exactly are you doing?
Are you controlling the DL? Game plan aggressive? Blitz? Change the way the DL pursuits, ie crash left, crash right, pinch, spread out, etc.?

Not about sacks, it;s about disruption, pressure, etc.

Sacks are meaningless in the grand scheme of things, it;s about blowing plays up, taking away the pocket, and making the offense react.

I usually use the DE and speed rush outside and dive which usually disrupts the QB, but thats when I get desperate. Other times I control the LB or S if hes blitzing. I usually get 2-4 sacks a game with pressure but there are still times where the QB can sit back all day and pick you apart, thats when I speed rush

The pass rush isn't where it needs to be, but I've been able to get good, consistent (somewhat) pressure with the 4-3 and manually controlling a DL.

I've noticed ROBO QB when there is less than 2 minutes left in the 2nd or 4th quarter... they never miss throw a ball..

I've played two games. I'm Kentucky and I played Indiana and UCLA, kinda random opponents for Kentucky but anyways.

Against IU, I had 2 sacks, both by my DT and had 1 interception.

Against UCLA, I had 3 sacks, and 2 interceptions, including one really awesome sequence where they picked me off and my WR tackled him down at the one yard line. I was down 17-14 and needed to get momentum back so I called a 4-4 defense to try and get a safety, figuring he would run the ball...so I called a line backer blitz...it was a pass and I got pressure and hit him as he released and my DE intercepted it in the endzone for a TD...pretty sweet.

So I think if you got skill, you can have pass rush success.

Ya, the pash rush just isn't there. The cpu will get pressure on you just fine, but you can't get any against them. I have the AI slider to zero for pass blocking and stil nothing. I might get a sack or 2 per game. But like the OP is saying... There is no consistent pressure.

The qb has all day to throw unless you blitz. Then when u blitz, its robo qb all day. Arkansas threw 254yds against me(using USC). I won 28-7, but I had 4int's. Its the same thing again, the only incompletions the ai throws are int's pretty much.

Just ridiculous. I just rented the game, so Im not that upset. I'll rent it again if i have to, but gonna wait for the patch and see if its fixed. If not, then its bye bye ncaa, and her i come madden.

Overall, I like the game. Even though it reminds me too much of Madden 09 with a few cool animations.

Got 2 sacks against LSU (Solid O-Line) and 4 against UT

i agree, hope EA fix pass rush with a 2# patch they were talking about.

This can`t be fix it with sliders, because as you see a TOP team vs the worst team and still no pass rush.

Sliders tweaks Ratings, and Ratings are not working as they should on this area.

At Hiesman level the only way to stop the QB is by Man to man, Bump and Blitz...
If you call Mix zone with blitz, the cpu will detect the WR in a milisecond and will deliver.

AGAIN, EA PLEASE INCLUDE A FIX ON 2#PATCH .

PS: Sacks means nothing.... Consistently pressure on the QB is what we are talking about. There is no point for of sack the QB 2 or even 5 times, if the rest of the times he has 10 sec to throw!
