best FCS conference?

thinking about building a FCS conference, i don't know which one is a tough one. think the big west since we have a lack of west coast schools.

I would say probably the SoCon or CAA. Both conferences have produced the last six FCS national champs.

CAA easily. The CAA has placed 5 teams in the playoff field in each of the past two years. This year the 3rd place CAA team won the NCAA Division 1 Football National Championship. (The BCS is not an NCAA championship event.)

CAA followed by SoCon for last year (Who know this year until we play the games). However it is almost always those two. Some years the CAA is better and some years the SoCon is better. If you want the conference with the greatest FCS team of all-time then you need to create the SoCon and have App. St.:wink:

from top to bottom it goes in this order:
1). CAA
2). Big Sky
3). SoCon

Most people say the CAA is stronger conference than the MAC, Sunbelt, and WAC....

But I would go with CAA and a toss up between Big Sky and SoCon.

Hopefully JMU will rebound this year. Stadium looking nice. UVA new coach is not pleased with that lol

UVA facilities are not quite up to par to where he wants them to be so that they can bring in the better recruits compared to other schools. He seen what JMU is doing with their stadium(which looks nice and only halfway finished) and also what JMU football facilities look like and has been over heard saying "we need to get our stuff together because I dont want to be upstage by some school over the mountain." In the past few years we have taken a few of their recruits. A couple of 3 stars and such.
